I'd rather not have Pastora back... don't get me wrong, she was amazing, but I'd rather Spain gave us something new and different! :)

Re: SPAIN 2014

Venezuelan singer, Carlos Baute said in interview that TVE proposed him, being a representative of Spain in Malmö.
Source - Mundo Eurovisivo: TVE ofreció a Carlos Baute ser el representante español en Malmö 2013.

As much as I love Venezuela - I am SO happy that Carlos Baute didnt accept the offer (did he really get the offer? Is this confirmed?). Spain should go with singers that can actually sing live (unfortunately it showed out that Raquel did a quite lousy job vocally on the important night). Pastora did a marvellous job (with a mediocre song); please let's hear more great voices from Spain!

Re: SPAIN 2014

If Spain wants some "latin flavour" I would suggest Natalia Jimenez; spanish singer but I guess even more successful in parts of the Americas.

I don't think non participation was ever really a question, was it? But it's always good to have something official.

Most rumoured artist this year is Roser. We'll find out very soon I guess :)

Re: SPAIN 2014

We know that Roser is in "Uno de los nuestros" in TVE as jury.
Really, is not my cup of tea, but with a great song maybe can get a very good position, because she has a great voice.
But if we send something like this
xpuke

Re: SPAIN 2014

Does anyone like Buika? She was on tv over here last month and she totally blew me away. I had to rush to buy her latest album. I'd love to see her represent Spain. She'd be a real showstopper and a brave choice.. bravery usually gets rewarded.

This song here is my favourite. Gosh I get so excited every time I hear itxheat
