I totally agree with you. And please no Jorge González! Dullest guy ever, I'm so tired of coming across him while watching tv

Next one will be Mirela. Or even worse: CORAL! Mark my words

I am so disappointed with Tamaras (excuse me; Yurena - or was it Ambar?) new style and look... Where did her sexy dance moves go??
If asked I am sure she would be thrilled to represent Spain though...

Re: SPAIN 2014

Chenoa said she would like to represent Spain. Quite clearly this time!

She's not the only one, but the most famous one. So TVE, start choosing now instead of doing it just before christmas and making a song in one month just for ESC.
You have plenty of time and options, don't waste it!

Despite Chenoa is well known for her up-tempo songs, since they would be quite old fashioned now, I'd choose any of her rock ballads xlove

Sorry - I've never understood the fuzz about Chenoa. I still havent heard any song of hers that I really like. And I dont see her as a great stage personality either. Of course she is not a bad singer, and will probably do a much better vocal performance than Raquel did. But I am hoping for some new talented singer with a contemporary song.

She was the second woman vocalist with the most sales last decade, so it's not the typical eurofans fuzz. It's true that her last albums are rather weak, but if she can get a great song as her first ones....

And about the great stage personality..... Are we talking about the same Chenoa??? If she's outstanding in one thing it's just the stage personality :?

Well, what can I say; taste differs... But since I really havent liked her songs I guess that strongly influences how I see Chenoa as a singer and stage personality. But again, she is of course not a bad choice (as long as I like the song) - but I would definitely rather see someone else than her.

Re: SPAIN 2014

Chenoa would be amazing for Spain. As I wrote earlier in this forum Chenoa would be perfect but I do prefer the latin style although I don't think that would work at Eurovision. I would love to see Spain win the contest once again and I will hold onto the fact that they will win once more in my lifetime!! If they don't I will fly to Europe and become the head of the EBU and fix the contest!

Spain in 2003 and 2004 bringed latin style songs and finished in the top ten. It could work.

Some rumours say it might be Pastora Soler again for 2014. Well, she said she wanted to represent Spain once more, so better now when she's doing tours around Europe, especially in Croatia, than in 5 years, when nobody remembers her.

Unfortunately she won't do it. I would LOVE to see her back so soon but it's not gonna happen.
I asked her if she'll ever come back to Eurovision. She said no. She loved the experience but she wouldn't do it again. Of course she said "you never know" (I mean she was also saying no before but she did it!) but for now she doesn't want to do it again.
The quote is from the day I met her... Anything can happen though (thank God! :p )

Well, she said she'd do it again several times, just not right now.

"Several"??? :D xlove

If she ever comes back I'd like to see her with an up-tempo song. Definitely not with another ballad. I want her to show that she can sing anything. Not "oh that lady with the ballad again".

Actually, she started her career with uptempo songs, but she's been a ballad woman for the last years.
