I don't know, i could be totally wrong, but i don't imagine this doing very good. The spanish fans really LOVE this song, but i think it will be easily forgotten. Sometimes a dramatic and strong voice isn't enough.

This will be in the juries top. 3, so even if the public won't agree, it'll end up high enough.

I for one, don't get the fan-hype. I think it's an ok song, but I prefer Spain 2007, 2009, 2011 to this one for instance.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there's so many 'strong voiced' songs this year and now it basically became boring, it's not something that stands out anymore, so I don't know about this song...

Spain lost their chances for winning because of the draw. And now I doubt about TOP10  Serbia will perform after Spain and many votes will go for Serbia. But it serves them right. Spain had a chance to choose the best performing position but they chose no-19 instead. Just see how Luthuania qualified to the final with such usual song just thanks to their draw.

I don't think the draw has any relevancy at all in this kind of thing. People vote for what they like, be in 1st position or last position, wouldn't change the vote. Most people already know who they are voting for, some without even listening to the songs. So I don't think Spain singing 1st or last will actually make any difference whatsoever.

Who cares about the victory. I prefer a high quality&classy song which doesn't win that the same euro-pop-trash "winner soup" proposed each year. Only few countries have decent songs this year, Spain is one of them.

If the public has this in their bottom 3 or 5, which I still think they will, a good jury score will not make a high outcome even in the 'combined results'. Besides 2002 and 2007, I think this is the worst Spanish entry since the millennium. But taste differs, for example I enjoy the 2006 entry a lot.
Fans and 'jurors' sometimes are a little too obsessed with 'strong divas', but the average viewer will not be methinks.
All we can do is wait for the results now and until then I shall rest my case.;)

Don't win Eurovision, Spanish entrant told

Spain's Eurovision contestant has admitted the country would struggle to host the event if it were to win.
Directors from broadcasters TVE said to Pastora Soler, who will represent them this year, "Please, don't win!"
"If we won, I think it would be impossible to stage the next edition because it costs so much money," she told ABC Punto Radio.
Thursday saw 10 more countries named finalists in the second semi-final to be held ahead of Saturday's main event.
Swedish entrant Loreen, considered by some to be the favourite this year, was among the successful acts to go through.
Lithuania, Malta, Norway and Turkey were among the other nations to join the 26 finalists.
The evening saw eight countries eliminated from the competition, among them Bulgaria, Croatia, Portugal and the Netherlands.

Spending cuts

Pastora Soler will sing her ballad Quedate Conmigo (Stay With Me) at Saturday's final, to be held in the Azerbaijan capital of Baku.
It is written in the contest rules that the public broadcaster of the nation that wins must host the following year.
"I think it is not the moment, neither for Spain nor for Spanish public, to win Eurovision," Soler was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency.
The Spanish government has slashed spending in public television, resulting in the cancellation of several popular programmes.
Spain last won the competition in 1969, when it shared a four-way tie with the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands.
Spain also won the contest in 1968, 12 years after it started, with singer Massiel's song La La La.

Again, she was misunderstood. It's a nonsense and ABC is crap and a shame for journalism. They lost all their credit attacking the Spaniards who peacefully were protesting for the sh*t we're suffering.
They're just a shame and that newspaper is only worthy to feed the fire.

spain is kind of overrated on fan-sites. its a good song but its also kind of conservative/old-fashioned. not timeless as some say... but i still like spain!

I read an article who says that Spain don't want to win this year. This made me very sad.:(
