I think it's written somewhere in the rules that the Contest must be in an indoor venue. Logical I might add.

I do not believe a second in a Spanish victory. This smells like France 2011 all over again, and I feel she'll end up in about the same place on the scoreboard (despite probable 12 points by Italy and Portugal).

I never thought that the rule said that it had to be hosted by the winner, I always thought it was just like an offer, I was quite surprised when I realised! I think that is one area where a rule change is needed!

You have some nice sport halls, right Spain? Caja Magica? Palau de Blaugrana? What are their capacity? They are the first arenas that came to my mind...

But it's open stadium that has no roof... I'm looking into indoor arenas, where contest could be most likely held. But who knows, maybe TVE could convince EBU that possibility of rain is very low ;)

I don't agree here. France last year was a huge favourite to win since they picked their song. Spain on the other hand is a favourite since Pastora had her first rehearsal. She wasn't taken under consideration until people saw what she's capable of! I'm glad about it!

Better angle. GO PASTORA!!! xheart

If spanish tv didn't want to win, they shouldn't have sent Pastora. It's as simple as that. Now it's too late to change their mind. :D

If they win (I doubt it!) I think they will host it in Barcelona. That's where TVE keeps their equipment. At least most of it. So it would be perfect for them. And correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Barcelona no1 tourist destination in Spain? Or at least more popular than Madrid...

Spain has not won the Festival of 2011. When you do, if you finally do, talk about the place in Spain where it held.

Good luck Pastora, good luck Spain.

Dreaming is free, but sometimes it's better to be realistic. Pastora is a favorite of the festival this year, but not consider it appropriate to discuss the organization of the 2013 Festival of 2012 when no winner yet. Sorry for my bad english...

I'd love to see a Spanish win. Let's be honest Spain is often overlooked in Eurovision so it'd be epic for all eyes to be on them next year ^_^

Your english is fine. Just like Pastora's! :p But who cares if we have a winner or not yet? We talk for months about the swedish victory! ;)

OMG please!

1- I'm so tired of the "TVE told Pastora not to win because we don't have money to host" issue. Could we stick to Eurovision and Pastora?

2- Of course ESC must be in an indoor arena. The one who said it never rains in Spain... It does in spring and quite a lot actually! And you can't predict more than one week ago.
So that's the problem, Spain is all football, so our indoors arenas are quite small for Eurovision, I fear...

3- About the city... TVE has equipment both, in Madrid and Barcelona (probably more in Madrid I think...). I think the most smart idea would be Madrid, since it's candidate for Olympic Games 2020 and IOC will decide in 2013, so hosting a great ESC would be in favour.

4- We haven't won yet and probably won't, so no more talking about an hypotetic ESC 2013 in Spain, please! It gives bad luck!!!!!
