I think the comparison with France last year does not quite fit. Amaury failed because he was not able to perform live on the same level that could be expected from the video. Judging by the rehersals, I do not see that Pastora might have the same problem. She has a wonderfully composed song, and she is obviously capable of a superb live performance. I really hope she will do so tomorrow. Loreen may have an extravagant and impressive stage show, but it is not without technical flaws. The song is repetitive, her voice too throaty for my taste and her dance moves for the most part appear contrieved. If Pastora performs on top of her art, I would put her before Loreen any time, no matter what Loreen does. At the moment the only thing that works in Loreen's favour is the hype.

That was... amazing. For the first time in my whole life the song I like most is the one from my own country. What a strange sensation...

Hi, everybody, by the way :D

Hello :)

And you can be mighty proud of your entry.

I'd love a Spanish victory and while I don't really believe in it just yet it would be a wonderful surprise.

Oh, I really am. For once I can say "Spain" and not blush from embarrasment  I don't think we'll win, but for the first time I really wish it could be possible.

(trying very hard to write English, sorry for your trouble translating my words to a coherent language  )

There is no need for embarrassment. I liked Lucia's song last year very much, too, and was appalled she finished so low. It was surely not a winner, but such a sweet and happy good-mood song, and among those I play most often from last year's entries.

Well, I didn't like the song, although I must say that Lucía's performance was great. At least she had a beautiful voice and didn't sing out of key, like many other artists we have send to Eurovision :? It was a happy song, you're right, but not a really good one, me thinks. The last good song (in my opinion) Spain sent was Bailar pegados, and it was more than twenty years ago!

Maybe that's the reason why I'm so excited right now. I love Pastora, I love the song, and we will not win, but we will be happy whatever happens. And proud :D

My best spanish entries were Anabel Conde (Vuelve conmigo) and Mocedades (Eres Tú).

I hope that the europeans know how to appreciate the talent and hard work of Pastora Soler on stage. In my opinion she should be the winner of this Erovisión Festival 2012. Good luck Pastora!!

I don't mind Sweden but after months of ridiculous overhype anything else would be pleasant, especially if it is good, like Spain is.

I do not like Spanish television say that Spain is the favorite (I heard it said on Spanish television international). They say it every year and I think it is inconsistent to say when it is not. All they want is that the audience up by the false expectations they create in the viewers. I wish good luck to Pastora. I think it's possible a spanish victory tonight!!

Quality song? Sure.

Contemporary? No, sounds dated.

Most of the so called "contemporary" songs sound woeful. Contemporary doesn't equal good.
