Okey, this comment is really funny when it is coming from a Swede, a country whose songs are always hyped no matter what xrofl2xroflxrofl3

It’s the opposite actually. Fans hate Sweden. The general viewers and the juries reward us.

If anybody is hated by fans it is Russia.. but OK.. :)

Not really. People have been hyping Sergey like crazy and people actually shouted for Russia to win in the arena 2016.

The song is very close to my cup of tea but at the same time I wouldn;t add it to my music collection for daily listening. :10:

Okay finally got a chance to listen to the new masterpiece of Sergey Lazarev. Ok, firstly, i have to say that the song is something SUPER DIFFERENT from what I have expected. To be honest at first listening it sounds kinda plain and kinda... idk without any development in the middle and chorus are kinda ew.. But after listening to it twice I can say its something extraordinary and something new even to Eastern Europe. We dont like such music here tbh. Besides the song has better quality than regular russian songs about peace and love. I believe the song might go 2 paths: Polina Gagarina's one or Statements one. Gagarina pushed her into favourites after live performance which was stunning af, and Statements ruined itself by a complicated performance of Loreen. So its either yay or nay.

That was their choice that year..

Fans does not equal general viewer/voter

Yeah, fans hate you, yet your thread has 351 pages, whereas Netherlands the current favorite to win it all has about 45 pages... Indeed we hate Sweden.

Because that whole thread is just filled with positive energy isn't it?

Well. Too bad Maruv is out. I'd have my 12p vs 12p duel between neighbours.

They surely want to prepare an overwhelming show. I think that they will either overdo the performance or they'll win with that song. After Fuego there are few major bops and not a single quality ballad like this.

Allow me to quote the queen Madonna: Rejection is the greatest aphrodisiac. Envy, dar Filip, envy is at work many times.

And finally, you know how it goes. Ultimately, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Well, I'm going to add some love sprinkles in here, this thread is waaaaaaaaaaay to negative.

I-could-cry-You-are-awesome-Meme.jpg

Oh, gosh, Russia's thread was beyond negative for the last three or four years. This is actually super positive and normal  I'm proud this year of my fellow ESC United forumists :)

But look at the poll here?! :(
It was 20 X 12. And now somebody downgraded so it is only 19 X 12.. Such a small number for this GEM! xcry

Sorry, I have to go from 8 to 5. I'm a big fan of Sergey, but this is just not good.

I really do respect everyone who likes this entry and think it will do well but I just can't see enough people who wants to vote for this
Now staging can change a lot but I think Russia should be happy if Lazarev's anywhere around top 5 this year in my humble opinion...

In his defense, taking a quick look at the 2016 jury voting, I am surprised how few points he received from eastern european countries - hopefully it'll change this year for Sergey's case :D
