I can give it 2 points. At first I was wowed by a video, but I don't feel comfortable when I watch his performances. I don't like it anymore.

This is "too perfect" for me and I know that they want people to see amazing performance with good singer and dancers, but all what I can see are funny robotic moves, weird dances with no place for even small unplanned things like eyewink to the camera or something... they desperately want to show us perfection and winning performance but for me this is only outdated plastic.

Anyway, I think I am the only one (:D) who thinks this way, so Russia will be save, but I hope it will not win.

(And totally I don't get from what side Sergey is "the hottest one", but whatever )

This perfomance was made for his solo concert tour in Russia, in March he had 24 concerts in different cities, and among dosens of other songs, he also sung this one with this dance. Such kind of perfomance is good for solo concerts at big stage, but its not great at TV shows and so on =) so its not true that "they desperately want to show us perfection and winning performance"... its Sergeys usual work, he started to sing this song at his concert only after 6th March, and at that time he was too buisy having his 24 everyday concerts to create something amazing...its not even his best dance, on youtube there are many videos from his solo concerts, there are much better dances... i'll put videos with his better dances. As Sergey said many times ESC perfomance has nothing with this one... In May we will see absolutley different show from him. For example here his perfomance with his song Alarm, main dance in the end

You do realize that the juries were purposely marking the song down to combat the televote right :?
But they only have %50 power, so televote should be low in case to get 0 points totally.

I am not the fan of Sergey's song but it is simply disgusting what 'tolerant' people are doing with him and Russia for example on Wiwi site. He is not responsible for Hovi's incident but stigmatizing an artist or a whole country because of some idiots on the airport it is very unfair. I think there is a massive anti-russian propaganda is behind the stages which is not good for us and not good for Eurovision. If Sergey wins (I hope not because of the song) Russia will do ESC 2017 without incidents for sure.

On the other side these tolerant guys are cheering for chinese attendance. Everybody knows China is the main defender of human rights. (sarcasm alert)

I can't agree with you here - Although I'm not a big fan of those Wiwibloggs guys I have to defend them in this case. The article about this incident isn't biased at all. They just wrote down what Hovi and Barei had to say about this - that's it. (some comments are a bit over the top but we all know that those people love the DRAMA)
I would even say that Wiwibloggs is one of the more "pro-Russian" Eurovision fansites imho (e.g. their panel has Russia on #1)
Anti-Russian-Propaganda? Some say so. Pro-Russian-Victimization-Propaganda is what others say (Propaganda-War ...sounds like a cheap Movie) But let's not start to talk about that again.
I guess we can all agree that this incident is just disgusting and inhuman but at the same time it has nothing to do with Lazarev or his song.

GermanBango Ok, so I have not managed to express myself clearly. (my english is not good). In this case I do not blame Wiwi bloggers for writing about that shameful incident, my problem is the comments below Hovi's article. When I said 'disgusting' and 'propaganda', I thought of the readers, commenters who are overreacting...

PS: I know Wiwi push Sergey's song extremely (I do not like it).

Naaaah your English is fine, no worries
As I said the readers just love the drama, that's all. Maybe they are Spanish.... didn't their golden goddess Barei say that if she were gay she wouldn't vote for Russia because of that incident?!

I love Barei's song really BUT as a public figure or celebrity she should never say a sentence like this. It was nice that she put in a word for Hovi but on the other hand discrediting your opponent, Sergey is not fair.

Agreeing about China, i have to say committing hate crimes in airports seem popular in Russia. Apart from Hovi's case, i saw a similar attack towards the metal band Belphegor's frontman.

I have to give an example from my country which is also homophobic, but however i don't remember any attacks towards any singer back in 2004.

I didn't know the band before. But they must be Austrian, aren't they? I heard the frontman talk in austrian dialect.

It's not Sergey's fault people, he even has a gay in his name lol

all jokes aside, everything was made into a spectacle, I agree that people shouldn't be discriminated based on looks, gender or sexuality BUT someone from Israel talking about another country being biased .....It's a typical example of the pot calling the kettle black. They have been leaders in human rights violations with building walls in populated areas and bombing people that have no way out.
So, I would say first reflect than object

P.S
I can see him being like "What's up bitches" to the people at the airport (If you've seen an interview you would get it)

If I have to be deadly serious, Hovi's looks aren't really that "shocking", "exciting" or "new". To me he looks like a sad diva from the '80s tbh. Not the first nor last guy with an eye-liner and long hair.
