TVR is in a bad shape for the time being.

Not the same Romania we used to love anymore. Romania of the past were strong and could easily host the contest at their peak.

I wish the best for our brother country.

I've said it before, the Romanian eurofans deserve better than TVR. They've been treated with such contempt over the last few years with sub-par entries and a failure to address ever increasing non-qualification.

Honestly, Romania should take a year off to figure things out and make sure next year they get a proper budget and not rely on artists' money.

A late participation atp will likely lead to a quick and sloppy visionless selection and they can't afford to do that twice in a row.

At this rate, the day of the first Semifinal they will still be indecisive about this year participation... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Btw, I think they desperately need an year off to reset last 5 years and reconnect with the contest: they used to be succesful, but the last few entries left me really uninterested or underwhelmed, mainly because TVR efforts were almost non existent. The only song I liked since 2016 was Alcohol You, but CoVid decided Eurovision 2020 wasn't supposed to be.

Same. It's a shame 2020 didn't happen since that song... It's probably among my top 20 favourites of all time.

Wouldnt have qualified with Roxen.
But another Singer could have qualified with that Song.
