It also seems that Conan will sing the song in a "fado way" (I'm guessing similar to the music video) and Nike has offered him 3 pairs of trainers to use on Eurovision

Its a unique and different entry than anyhting else and that will make many people to vote! I know that many people hate it but the number of people who love it is bigger!

I really don't see this doing well with the casual voters. Juries might push it into the finals, where it then could pull a Benjamin. But there is no way this wins, be it the semis or the finals.

There is no other country to win SF1! Iceland is overrated, Cyprus is too early, Czech Republic won't do well with juries so Portugal will win SF1 easily!

Yeah casual viewers can be unpredictable but im not sure how they will react to our song!
Portugal has a song that will see way different than the rest! There is always the case that many people will get Portugal's song as a joke but currently i don't believe that they will be that many!

Totally agree, Greece it's an easier song to connect than Portugal's, but the fact that maybe they will improvise on stage makes me uneasy, I hope that they will have a choreography in May.
Also I hope that RTP produces a videoclip, the song really needs one, Soldi's videoclip was the first way for many to understand the story behind the music and I do believe that if Portugal creates a videoclip that illustrates the meaning behind the words we can have a better chance

I hope Conan wins SF1 as well. If not Portugal, then Cyprus.

I think the winner of the semi is extremely unpredictable, I guess it will be one of those four countries (or even more, who knows). It will depend from the juries and from the performances in Telaviv.

This is the kind of semi where a 3rd/4th place can do much better in the Grand Final than the winner.
