I've seen them together in a radio interview and their relationship is more of a older brother/younger brother one. João's sister, Sreya, is a friend of Conan since high school. With Conan's Stylist, Rúben, they end up being like a family.
But I kinda understand what you mean in stage, they have a unique chemistry on stage and João spoke in an interview that Conan is both is favorite artist (Conan since high school has been composing music for his friends using FL Studio and João had an mp3 full of his songs when he was at school) and being an inspiration of him to dance (João stated that he always liked to dance, but that he felt ashamed and did it alone in his bedroom, one new year's eve he saw Conan dancing and because Conan was 7 years older than him and because Conan was bullied since young for being different he felt that it was okay for him to dance out in the open too).

The social media links are a bit wrong, Conan doesn't have a twitter acount and his real intagram acount is - conanosiris - the facebook link is correct but he hasn't been using it in a while, maybe you can add his soundcloud acount to the list, here, apart from Telemóveis it has every song he published so far.

Amazing return with an out of the box song. Loin d'ici and Telemoveis got me equally hooked.

I really, really dislike both of them..2015 was wonderful for my taste actually...

Telemoveis and Under the ladder I prefer greatly over loin d'ici... UTL is one of my favs of all time and telemoveis is on it's way to become one of those as wel( as with hatrid mun sigra, great year for me so far)

I wanted to give it 10 points but I had to upgrade it to whilst typing these lines. This entry is everything. It's very artsy-fartsy but in a very interesting way. The arrangement combines so many different styles and makes this song so interesting. It feels ethno, exotic, modern and traditional at the same time. It's out of this world.
I had a serious WTF moment when I listened to it for the very first time and I couldn't tell if I should place it first or dead last in my ranking but it's such a massive grower. I love it more and more each day.
Tbh, I wouldn't mind seeing Portugal win again.

Yes, he's so talented, but what captivates me the most is his facial expressions..
Yet, he doesn't take away from Conan's presence, they compliment each other. And even though they don't look at each other not even once, I can tell that there is a strong connection.

Going by our common fb friends (who all happen to be portugese fags in berlin) and judging by the backstage pictures they've posted on his last gig here in Berlin I would be VERY surprised if he's non-queer.

The only thing strange about this is the appearance on stage. But even that probably won't help as a weird appearance is successful in Eurovision when it features cliches that people understand such as monster masks, bearded lady, Japanese kimono.
