By the way, besides João Matos, Emanuel and Andrej Babic and Carlos Coelho, other composers that are rumoured are Tiago Pais Dias and Marisa Liz, members of Amor Eletro who composed "O amor é maior que a vida" for Joana Leite in 2012. Apparently they have learned their lession and they are searching for a great singer (considering Joana ruined the song, that was great, with an horrible live vocal performance).

Rui Andrade (FC 2011,2012), the guy who has videos of Zlata Ognevich, Ruslana and other eurostars saying they support him (desperate much? ) is working with a foreign composer who has already participated in Eurovision before for another country (Please no Thomas G:Son!).


Tozé Santos and Nuno Feist are also rumoured. Nuno Feist is the composer of Vanessa's entries. She probably will not participate as she will be participating in our newest edition of "Your face sounds familiar" on another channel (unless she cancels that). Tozé Santos is the composer of "Redescobir Portugal" that participated in 2012
These two seem to be the same old composers that are friends of Portugal's HoD

I heard the song by Andrej Babic and Carlos Coelho is suppose to be "Canta por mim" 2.0 but may feature a male vocalist this time instead of a female one. Don't know if that's true but someone said ESCPortugal published a review of the rumored composers and that a male singer was hinted at this time around

I heard the same thing as well. Then again the same site as said they will choose a "diva" as before so who knows

Nope never stepped foot in Europe in my whole life, born and raised in the US of A xsalute

I do however European history and would die to go to Europe (ANYWHERE) but I can't afford it 1

I love ESC cause we don't have anything like that here and it just fascinates me . I all events that have multiple countries gathering together, Olympics World Cup you name it

Obviously if his song ends up being good then my opinion on him will change, but until then I'm not supporting him!

Even if his song was good (rather a remote possibility) he would ruin it with his unpleasant voice and pompous, old fashioned manner.

02: Andrej Babić / Carlos Coelho (as a songwriting team, they created the ESC 2008 and 2012 entries.

03: Tozé Santos (vocalist and guitarrist of pop-rock group Per7ume)

04: João Matos (songwriter and producer. Responsible for Áurea's breakthrough debut album)

05: Tiago Pais Dias (founder, songwriter and member of electro pop-rock group Amor Electro)

06: Jan van Dijck (co-composer of the ESC 1990 entry)

I'd love for Portugal to send Vanessa, who I think deserved to represent them in 2010 even though Ha Dias Assim was my favourite that year Her vocals are so incredible, and with an even better song than 'Alvorada' she could do REALLY well at ESC

"Alvorada" was an amazing ballad with an amazing performance. My absolute favourite from that NF.
