Probably they should. Because the song mentions about northern lights/fairies etc. I do like the colour scheme. They just need to re-do the staging with similar colour scheme. I think it'll be good to go.

My thoughts exactly. Hope they will get rid of the two dancers, I found them more distracting than anything

That's quite true. I think it's because this song doesn't require dancers of those nature. Too much was happening during the National Finals performance.
They need to clean up the performance. I think some good lighting spectacle should do the trick.

According to an interview Alexandra gave on Thursday their performance in Tel Aviv will give "a simpler, more arctic and norwegian impression" than in the norwegian MGP. There will also be more focus on the 3 artists as individuals and as a group.
I am pretty sure this means no dancers, more nothern light (and hopefully some snowcovered landscape in the background).

They are so adorable and likeable (especially Tom xrose). I really enjoy their insta stories. And the song also grew on me.
I think it will be a safe top 10.

Sounds promising. Already liked their dynamics and movements in the national final.

I don't know why so amny people say that this will flop? :(

Maybe because they only was liked by one of the IJ in the national final and that the song screams "fanwank that almost every time flops"

Add that the performance in the national final was very messy and not that good vocally either. I said that they need a performance that stands out really well, and it sounds like they will do just that

I like the song but I can´t help getting flop vibes of it if they don´t do a good performance (with that I mean a rememberal performance both vocally and visually)

I remember last year that everyone was sure that Saara Aalto would fail to qualify but at the end she qualified. So something like that can happen with Keiino too. The closer we get to semifinals the more people will be sure that Keiino are going to NQ and finally they will prove everyone wrong.

Maybe it's just me being norwegian, but I feel very confident that Spirit in the Sky wont flop. Why? For several reasons. Alexandra and Tom Hugo are good vocalists. Fred didn't do a very good solo in the MGP final, but he's been better in other performances. The Joik part will make this stand out from the other songs. I am also confident that they will put together a much tighter and better stage show in Tel Aviv. Just a few days after the norwegian final NRK said that the show would almost be completely changed.

I do think this will do better amongst the televoters that with the juries, but I dont think juries will "kill" the entry as long as the vocals are good. It is true that only the Israeli IJ gave top marks to Spirit in the Sky in the NF. But we have to clue how it was judged by the other juries, only that it was not their number one. En Livredd Mann by Mørland also got only one top mark from the juries. On beforehand I would have guessed Mørland to be the obvious jury-choice.

They are building up the momentum pretty well. I hope they sail through, but I fear for Fred's vocals. He at times sounds like he struggling to sing his parts.

The notion that the predicted fanflop disaster is now averted because they rock the parties, amuses me. This song has everything and more that a perfect fanflop needs. That's Eurotrash from 20 years agao that finds some love from hardcore fans. Compared to this, Verona, Je t'adore and Hear them calling would have been so wronged (neither of those were imho). And the appraised live performances aren't particularly great at all.

Saara Alto's result wasn't great. She qualified over the borderline thanks to non-events from Armenia, Greece and Belgium and this semi.

However, even if Saara Alto is the benchmark for Keiino, I don't see how they meet it. Monsters was cheap but not as cheap as Spirit in the sky.

The song is written for casual viewers because of the instant impact, the catchy chorus and its identity. This will prove all haters wrong.

I cannot agree here because i really like ''Spirit in the sky'' and i liked ''Monsters'' last year too.

Many songs were written by the book already and failed. It's like saying the composers assume that the people are tasteless sheep that are triggered by the supposed "impact"

I would rather have 10,000 songs like "Spirit In The Sky" than have 10,000 songs like let's say "Limits" (supposedly to be a high quality song).
"Spirit In The Sky" is accessible and catchy. It gives you the feel good and fun factor. I only fear the staging will mess up their chances.

I don't know why it's classify as dated. Dated is what you find in Croatia, San Marino and Moldova's entries. I would classify "Spirit In The Sky" as your typical pop song.
