Spiwit in the skai's lack of originality is why precisely I love it lol. It's typical Eurovision ethnoschlager hooked up to my veins. There is literally no song in this year that triggers my musical saudade as much as this one. I love it, I love it, I love it, love it, love it -- Oscar Enestad.

I wish I could say the same, but even Latvia 2008 didn't get me as much as it should've had.

So no to Norway this year. And my heart's breaking to write this because I LOVE Norway in Eurovision, usually.

Somehow after so many listening, this song kind of reminds me of Ask Embla, especially the song Legion. Too bad Norway never send Ask Embla or Ina Wroldsen to ESC.

The lyrics are so dreamy but I’m having a hard time of finding out what the song’s really about
It won’t drag it down but

If we could just get two-three 12s from juries and I’d be happy

Tumblr, mostly.

Nothing really. I like that about it though. Not every song needs to have a deep, relevant meaning. Sometimes random words and a dreamy melody are enough to tell a story by themselves.

The song's basically a postcard lol. "This is Norway" condensed into three entertaining, immersive minutes. Have fun with it! That is what it exists for ;)

I love it :D it's nice, catchy, and strangely enough, I like the lyrics too :D The beginning of the refrain certainly reminds me of last year's "Monsters", but it's not a bad thing. On the contrary, it's a good thing, :fi: 2018 was one of my favorites after all :D I like the ethnic twist as well.

8 points for now.

Very decent and interesting.
If they have a special performance, maybe top 10.

Not one of them has a decent voice though, but then again crap like Israel won last year.

So it's almost a whole week since KEiiNO won MGP, and we're still yet to see the video appear on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel. Are NRK holding off on releasing it for some awful reason (shuddering at the thought of a revamp... Leave my SitS alone!!)

Making revamps is not the norwegian way... no need to fear that (I think).

It's catchy and although I applaud their effort to include some ethnicity elements in the song, but the vocals of the singer who did the non-English parts are so jarring to the remaining of the song. It sticks out like a sore thumb, which sort of ruin the song for me. I am giving this a 7.

Hope that you're right - it's annoying my OCD that Norway still doesn't feature on the YouTube channel though. I've made my own playlist, but the KEiiNO performance is uploaded by someone random and will probably disappear at some point. Don't even think NRK have uploaded the live performance videos from MGP to YouTube, unless I'm missing them somehow xthink
