I've seen Destiny belt out a good ballad, but I wonder if she's got the sass and personality that this song needs live? And while people are talking about obesity and I know the song has been compared to Netta's toy, I really hope Destiny doesn't do anything that takes her breath away. You'd think Netta had been running a marathon after she was done performing her song

Netta did a great performance though, so whether or not she was tired afterwards doesn't really matter if she nailed it while it counts

I don't doubt that she'll be able to give a sassy, spunky performance that won't necessarily require her to move very much. Just look at the music video, she isn't dancing around like a nutter, it's mostly the dancers and other performers that are doing the dancing and the more strenuous choreo so I think Destiny will provide a powerhouse central performance with great face, arms, hips and head bops while the other performers on stage will bring the additional energy that brings the performance to life.

So excited to see a live performance of this, sure that she'll smash it

Netta nailed the really high notes, but when she sang "wonder woman don't you ever forget, you're divine and he's about to regret", my ears bled. She deserved the win though, not disputing that!!

I have to see it again, but if my memory serves me well she did fine... maybe a little out of breath at times but I think when you sell a performance it's not always about hitting the notes, it's about high energy, charisma... nerve... and talent!

Eleni is a good example, she is not a very strong vocalist but my oh my did she sell that song!

Hmm, not sure how accurate this data is or how it's measured... so some of these come as a surprise to me (like Ukraine and Belarus for instance being so high, never met anyone fat from there and can't recall seeing any fat people when I've been in Ukraine, however Portuguese, Bosnians and Moldovans are pretty slim from my observations so seems accurate... oh well...)

Well ... obese people are less likely to go outside so they are underrepresented among those that we come across, and some morbidly obese one are too heavy to leave their house even.

Although I'm strongly rooting for either Bulgaria, Switzerland or Lithuania, I wouldn't be mad if this won. It's addictive and joyful, and we know Destiny can deliver live. I can't see the moment they release it in Spotify to play and replay. Definitely one of my faves this year.

I always rooting for countries that never win so I won't mind if Bulgaria,Malta or Lithuania wins but from this 3 I see Malta winning it...

One of my favorites of the year right now. Destiny did well in JESC and she has star quality, so I'm sure she'll give a fantastic performance that can put Malta in the top five.

Then it'll come around 4th or 5th with the televote, but the countries that place above it are going to be countries that didn't do as well in the jury vote, leading Malta to victory. I definitely see this as a contender for victory.

There are gossips ... some say that Maltese even bribe the juries. I don't believe in that but they sure are pushy in their way of promoting themselves. But it's a fact that Malta regularly gets placed much higher by the juries than by televote, with the most drastic example being 'Walk On Water' in 2016. It was in top 5 with the juries but has scored peanuts in the televote.
