I like Miriam Christine. Her failed entry "Beautiful Contradiction" from a few years back is a guilty pleasure of mine. Her new song although nothing particularly special, I think is quite nice.

Can't believe i'm saying this.. Franklin's song seemed quite touching. Young, doe-eyed boys singing mushy songs isn't my bag at all but his voice is really beautiful. I think he'll win.

Judging by YouTube likes, comments and views, it will be a fight between Daniel Testa and Jessica Muscat.

EDIT: Oh, i like her song a lot for now.

Yes! :D Daniel and Jessica the most popular two songs "One last ride" and "Hypnotica" :) When will be available a full-length version of all songs? :)

WOW! Malta has really stepped up from their game since the good placing of last year! These entries are MUCH more decent then I'm used to from the national preselection, I could even see Jessica Muscat ending in the top 5 in eurovision, if the second part of the song that we can't hear yet isn't tooooooo repetitive and stays refreshing. She has to be able to pull it off vocally also though

OMG ! It's mine too !
Oh la la ! We have so many guilty pleasures in common Rainy !   xrofl3

 I love it. I was addicted to the song years ago and was so disappointed that Miriam didn't even reach the final with it. It's incredibly infectious..

I want her to win again this year but I don't think she will. There are too many songs that are very similar to hers in the selection for it to stand out.

Jessika – Hypnotica is a terrible song and would be a disaster in Copenhagen,,and that's if her vocals were top notch, being a very poor version of a genre that does badly in ESC is not a good idea.

Danial Testa would also be a big mistake,,its very lightweight and has very little staging potential. The bridge in the song is terrible and serves no purpose. The jury would destroy it and rightly so.Be afraid Malta if you send this.

Davinia with Brand new Day has potential and could sound good and stage really well with backing singers running the melody through the song, though id want to see it staged and live first.Potential.

Raquel Galdes sounds like she has a very good song and she works it well,,could be jury bait if the full song is structured right. It needs to build through the 3 minutes.Possible.

Corazon with Ten could be really really good. The worry though is that its a bit boring and a lack of hooks. The 3 minute version might work but needs more life injecting. It has good potential but needs more oomph.Needs to be staged just right.

There are far too many female vocalists here and a lack of variety. That might help Daniel win,but that would be a disaster for Malta,,all just my opinion.

I funny to hear people while judging the songs completely ignore the fact that Malta does have a history of revamping the winner's song. This isn't a country like Switzerland that keeps the entry exactly as it is when it wins.

Who ever wins most likely won't be stepping on the ESC stage with the exact same song the perform in Malta. So when you listen to the songs you listen to the song that has the most raw potential to become something better.

That is very true. What matters is potential,,both of the performer and song. You cant make a silk purse from a sows ear though.Jessica and Daniels songs/stage presence are beyond saving. They might do well in the final, but would be destroyed in Copenhagen.Unless there is some kind of miracle or divine intervention:lol:

Based on these snippets it's quite bad lineup.. :( I liked Daniel Testa and Pamela the best...

Daniel Testa is really good snippet of song, different for Malta and quite modern, should win..

Daniel Testa for me based on what songs I've listened to so far.
