anyone got any idea who we can bring to the next eurovision

No clue...

But Claudia Faniello's 2007 NS entry "L-Imhabba Ghamja" is still the best Maltese entry that never was imo...

An updated version of something like that could be nice...

"Tomorrow" is beyond my cheese-limit

Kurt in 2012 was more balanced in the cheese-apartment for sure, way better than Gianluca but in a tougher year, had that been your entry this year I could see you ending up even a notch higher than with Gianluca.

Unfortunately, Kurt wasn't that exciting either.

What's with the cheese really? Is it a national trace? No offense, but Malta is simply overdoing the cheesy...

I don't know why, but I already imagine something like singer/songwriter stuff for Malta next year. Or something like indie pop or indie rock. No idea why I have this image.

Anton Attard, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Broadcasting Services as well as the Head of Delegation for the past three years confirmed that Malta will be returning to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 following a guest appearance on the daily evening talkshow, TV Hemm produced by Where's Everybody. In light of the success achieved at the esteemed international competition in 2013 thanks to Tomorrow co-written by Boris Cezek and Dean Muscat to the vocals of Gianluca, Attard stated this exposure for the country has been important even towards giving exposure to the professionality of the local music scene.

I think it's time for Claudia Faniello finally

Haha, poor girl. For some reason, I just don't want her to win, and frankly, if she didn't get the ticket with 'Caravaggio' in 2008, I doubt she ever will!

Yes, Maltese has some similarities with the Sicilian dialect

Well Olivia Lewis tried, like, 11 times before getting the ticket so they can both relate to eachother!

Something non-cheesy for a change?? (I ask for that every year, but seems impossible with Malta ) ... given the fact that the 2013 entry was probably one of the cheesiest entries in ESC for the past years and it was a success, chances are narrow that Malta will cheese it down for 2014...
