Just noticed in the UK results. Malta and Austria came first.
Austria 3rd/3rd
Malta 1st/5th

Such a shame the rules meant that Austria got the 12!

I am not a fan of the song, but I was rooting for them to make it, as their performance was really great and refreshing. In the final I knew the chances for something outstanding are not too big, but I think nobody from should be disappointed, you sent a positive, cheerful and happy song, made it to the final once again, and that is also a huge success

In 2012 I was so happy that Kurt ended 21st, I don't know whether that was because we failed to make the final the 2 previous years or the fact that I wasnt expecting him to even make the final so not ending last was great.
This year I believed that Firelight could do really well, so maybe that is why I am not happy with the placing

Kinda agree with you there... 2012 was a shock qualifier, and 21st was probably deserved.

Then again, I had Firelight as placing between 21-26 in the final too, because I knew this would struggle with televoting.
