I mean if we look at the big picture, it might not be guaranteed but at least there's still a chance and that it's not a DOA, even the producers didn't put it in the dead spot in the running order (they could just like how they put Serbia in 3rd spot again). At the end of the day, anything could happen, and it is the public votes only that will put an entry to the grand finals. So if can, let's vote guys

I think the only song 'dead on arrival' in SF1 is Azerbaijan. Anything else, I can see a path to qualification - yes including Ireland.

I saw today the LED's and lightshow and it looks stunning on bigger stage evethough they kept NF concept.

I only hope that they will use smart editing, the song also need some close ups to create the feeling of intimacy we all share while listening this song.

I'm still afraid it could be a NQ, but honestly, they are also the least of a mess and clownship the audience will get on May 9th and they might get rewarded for that. Hopefully.

Ngl, if there's no intimate moment in their next rehearsals snippets, I'm afraid it'll be the decider whether they'll NQ or still on the run for Qualifying. Like it'll cause the possibility of losing haft of the fandom.

I can't even understand the frustrations towards the staging rehearsals of latvia from the likes of alesiamichelle and thebalkanguy. I don't even know what they want.

Have you seen the Latvian news report on their rehearsal? It showed a lot more of and it looked fantastic especially the ending

I know that, I strongly believe the staging is perfect, because the only problem I noticed in their NF staging is it's a bit too dark, so the little bright blue during the first part will make it look less dark specially in TV screens.

The thing is others thinks otherwise, like those mentioned reactors, so I find it baffling how will they stage it if they don't like the orange lights.

To be fair most of the performances we have seen so far have looked dark but Malta most delegations have avoided LEDs so far we obviously know that Latvia does use leds for some of the performance at least

i thought the "fireflies" on the screen with silhouettes of band members here an there are quite striking. and tbh perfect. You don't want to overload the stage. it's an indie song... it's not a cabaret or crazy metal rap pop whatever it is Finland is serving (which i'm totally here for lol).
I also don't get the problem with those round lights. i liked them in NF, and i'm glad they kept them. they look stylish, clean and unpretentious. very classy. i get the vibe they are going with and it suits them very well.
i'm impressed with the stage. people kept saying it's small, some compared it to who wants to be a millionaire studio... but look at all the great stuff we keep getting, even from those low quality vids from the arena. imagine the tv version. UK knows what they are doing.

Gosh I still hate their lights so much! I really hoped that they would change their staging for Eurovision. It does not fit to the song at all in my opinion.

Gotta say im not a fan of their stage outfits, theyve looked good in various clothes everywhere but now on the eurovision stage i think they look a bit odd

I think it's mainly because there's no cohesiveness, but individually their outfits fits their personality somehow. My only nitpick is that
Andrejs jacket? whatever that is, doesn't look right/fitting, a bright red/blue even the one he wore at NF looks better.
