Who are your 8 almost safe qualifiers in SF1 ? I have only 5 lol

Since we have 8 (almost) safe Q in Semi 1 the remaining songs are fighting for two spots.

At this point none of the remaining is a safe NQ (although I think some of them are actually dead but you never know). Since most votes will go to the favourites I think the remaining don’t need many points to Q.
Maybe some calls are enough to get Latvia into a country‘s top ten.

I think only 7 are safe Qualifiers: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Israel, Serbia and Moldova, Croatia. Rest is up for grabs. I'm really worried for Latvia and Portugal even if I would love to see them sneak in. And I'm worried about Czech Republic too, because I don't think they have the strongest live.

For me, sure qualifiers are Sweden, Finland, Norway, Israel, Czechia.

IDK about all the others honestly. I could see Moldova NQ, as well as Croatia, Portugal or Serbia. I think it's quite open actually, and there's room for Latvia in the GF.

I agree with all of those qualifiers but for me I would also include Czechia and Latvia as sure qualifiers too. There's only one left I'm not sure on.

My worries with Latvia rely on their early draw. 4th spot is too soon, considering the over the top entries that follow it. The other slower songs (Switzerland and The Netherlands) also have better draws and may cancel Latvia's chances.

My hopes for it qualifying are still the same: the love from the fandom translated in actual votes. If people that root for it really concentrate in voting mainly for Latvia, they have a real shot.

If you take seriously odds, polls, views, OGAE, Eurojury etc there is no hope at all but it's better to ignore all that and keep the hope alive. Many of us here love the entry but the wider t/v tend to ignore such entries. I so much prefer than both Switzerland and Netherlands.

in my perspective there's certain pro and con in regards to running order of these countries that made them in equal footing

Latvia Con: too early Pro: hopefully will standout sandwiched in 6 up beat song, and it's sandwiched to not too strong entries, Serbia and Portugal

While both Swiss and the Netherlands Pro: in 2nd haft Con: sandwiched between strong entries Croatia and Israel, Czechia and Finland respectively.

Ok my heart will can't handle the pressure if they'll call Latvia last as qualifier, I can imagine I'll faint in an instant.

And if ever they NQ, I hope that Sweden, Finland, Norway or Israel still not called after the last 3 slots, so I can feel at ease as early as possible.

Luckily I am now mentality, physically, emotionally, and spiritually prepared if ever they underservedly NQ. But I am hoping the call out order won't make me go crazy in psychological roller coaster and torture.

And for once, I agree with EBU... We NEED Aija in the Final and Latvia needs to be back in the Final.

From what I've seen so far, I feel like Latvia might have one of, if not the best staging this year. A lot songs feel underwhelming in these recaps (visually and vocally) but Latvia seems to have perfectly matched the mood of their entry with the performance, camera angles and colour scheme. It looks really strong. I would file this as a surprise qualifier from the first semi.
