I don´t think :sm: will return, somewhere I read that :sm: was last year only as a test for :it: to take part

I also think :mk: and :md: will withdraw because of bad results, specially :mk:, but who knows, maybe with :rs: return and :me: debut as :mk: neighbours could persuade them to stay, but otherwise I want :al: back!!!

I truly hope that :hr: will return this year. I don't think that :mk: will withdraw from the contest because there are :me: :rs: & :bg: (countries that can give them high points). I hope to see :sm: & :md: as well.

BTW, why did Belgium decide to withdraw? From 2009-2012 they were always in the top 7. :?

Belgium withdraw from Junior Eurovision | escXtra
According to this article it is because the rating for their selection for JESC were higher than the ratings for JESC itself, and they wanted to focus on creating a program for young musicians (although the broadcaster didn't take part in Eurovision Young Musicians either!)

What? :? What's even the point of watching the selection if you don't watch the winner compete? It's not as if the show is like Melodifestival which could stand on it's own as a program without ESC.

I was not a fan of song #1. #2 isn't any better and I don't think their voices blend well together.

I want either #8 or #11 to win.

It was the longest JESC NF I've ever watched. 18 songs was too much. I think the only other final I will watch is Belarus' final because I really like 3 of their songs.

I think the winning song is decent enough but I would have preferred something more upbeat.

That's the winner? Obviously trying to replicated Malta, with the song genre.

I don't think it's anything like Gaia's song but I expect there to be a LOT of ballads this year so I really wanted Ukraine to pick an up-tempo song. The next NF is on the 30th. I hope we get some more songs before that. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything from Russia yet.

Here's the winning song for anyone who missed it

One thing I noticed was that many of the competing Children hardly ever got any tune right which was very painful to listen to
