Sanremo 2021: Vote for YOUR favourite!

Loro non sanno di che parlo
Voi siete sporchi, fra’, di fango
Giallo di siga’ fra le dita
Io con la siga’ camminando
Scusami, ma ci credo tanto
Che posso fare questo salto
Anche se la strada è in salita
Per questo ora mi sto allenando

E buonasera signore e signori
Fuori gli attori
Vi conviene toccarvi i coglioni
Vi conviene stare zitti e buoni
Qui la gente è strana, tipo spacciatori
Troppe notti stavo chiuso fuori
Mo’ li prendo a calci, ‘sti portoni
Sguardo in alto, tipo scalatori

No

Io ho scritto pagine e pagine
Ho visto sale, poi lacrime
Questi uomini in macchina

Tu portami dove sto a galla
Che qui mi manca l’aria
E parla la gente, purtroppo
Parla, non sa di che cosa parla
Tu portami dove sto a galla
Che qui mi manca l’aria
Parla la gente, purtroppo
Parla, non sa di che cazzo parla
Tu portami dove sto a galla

@Mrm

Since it is your job to analyse democracy levels of countries in the subthreads based on users' comments, I thought I can @ you here and you give us data on Italy as well (y)
I didn't read anything, I'd like to skip negativity now as much as possible..

Ofkors everybody loves me, even my haters, because i’m not a troll like you.

Just before you even attempt:

I don't want anybody to tell me what to like and what not to. It's nobody's business but my own. Okur? I want you to know this very well before engaging in any conversation with me. So don’t forget that.
Have a fabulous day sis.
But why then you dislike all my comments in SM thread? Why Im not allowed to write my opinions..
And not you, but some others laugh at my ranking comments in Estonian thread..

Rock/metal genres are not my first choice when it comes to musical genres, but on a few occasions, I will find myself liking something. Unfortunately for Italy, this is not the case here. I find this song a bit boring. It's somewhat monotone and I feel like the piece is in some loop. Vocals are on point I think.

I can give it :4: now

They need those orchestral arrangements for the ESC too I think. Hopefully they will be added in a revamp.
I agree with you.
The strings give richness.
I heard an interview last night, they are just thinking to present their new album and that means only TV and radio invitations. No libraries, no touring around Italy.
Also added that they are going to think about what to do in Rotterdam.

Edweis, if everything was based on simple personal taste I understand it. I don't understand instead wanting to find faults where there are none. I only answered those who gave me wrong examples (lyrics and voice). It is the desire to raise subjectivity as objectivity that I do not understand.

Rock is made up of different styles and contaminations and what some call "shouting" is actually a vocal technique and has a specific meaning to define a state of mind. You see, you took Ukraine as an example and I liked that very much. Do you know why? You looked beyond the music. This was not done by certain people who vehemently opposed our song right from the start. There was prejudice. They did not go down to evaluate the technique even for a moment (as you did for the voice of the Ukrainian singer) and to open up to a new sound (which this time is not an "old ballad"). If with each of our songs I always see the same individuals criticizing our work, can we really say that it is "personal tastes"?

I don't mind "Shum" as a song but obviously it's not my taste. It is repetitive and the ostentatious ballet irritates me. Perhaps I would have been less strict if we had limited ourselves to evaluating "Shum" as an excellent song rather than a masterpiece to be transcribed on the walls of the buildings from here until the end of time.

I conclude by writing this to you, do you know why ballets irritate me? Because today they are the most banal form of supplying something simply good, mediocre or bad with content. I'll give you as an example our Achille Lauro who here in Italy some crazy people are comparing to Renato Zero, David Bowie and Marilyn Manson ... in reality he is not too innovative a showman, a boy who is also good but who is not a singer. . His songs will be forgotten because they have no "body" and he is not bringing any innovation because instead of imitating he is just ape. The ballet, the make-up, the grimace must have a meaning and a position! If not, it's just smoke and mirrors.

I appreciated your analysis, and from the few conversations I've had with you, you seem like a tough, combative girl. If I weren't in love with Franzilein, I'd flirt with you! xlove

Seriously , it's always a pleasure to talk to you and it's a pleasure to see DenizESC happy to feel protected by your words.

The thing is, is there really any objectivity in music? Music in general is like maths – you have formulas on how to create a certain sound. You can educate the people on the matter as you did, but will it change their subjective taste of music? Most likely not, and that’s completely fine. How boring would it be if everyone liked the same.
What it can do is perhaps change the perception of music which is why I can understand your approach (and recently had a meltdown on a similar matter in the German thread). I’d never go around and say a song can’t be considered music based on my own tastes. Or project my own thoughts and intentions onto other people’s work to judge it. These are dimensions where music does not take place and you know people are talking out of their arse and just put themselves on a high horse when they have no reason to be on one.
So you have to filter when reading some of these “opinions”. Some are genuine and sincere, even when disliking a song, some are just here to hate, to bash, for the “glorious rants” – or how I see it, to eat and fart, because they remind me of a certain type of consumers. Certainly entertaining.

But hey, we’re the Eurovision Song Contest, let’s celebrate diversity... right? But only if I like it, otherwise I can hate on it ;-)

Lowkey think Italy will win it. It's out there, it's quality, but still fun.. and televoters always support Italy.. so far the only France and Bulgaria could challenge them, maybe also Russia if Manizha serves. Sweden could win with Eric as well. The dark horses could be Malta and Romania.

What about Efendi from Azerbaijan? Last year she was among the big favourites.

I appreciate this forum community so very much, and I trust y'all to be honest with me, so I'm going to ask you something:
You've tried to give your own impression of the way Rock is done and I appreciate it but now I'm going to dismantle your every word. I invite you to answer me, if you think you can have enough arguments in contrast with mine. Careful. Reading the following message may make you "feel small".
et several pages of alia
Have I ever sounded like this? Because if so, that's a problem, and I'm so sorry.

I had to get back to work but I decided to take a few more minutes to answer you. I have a weakness for intelligent, respectful and sincere responses.

What you wrote is right: is there really objectivity in music? Let's broaden the horizons ... is there really something that is not subjective in this world? Can the bright sun shine on a wonderful landscape and not be perceived in the same way or ... what makes us fall in love with one person, what makes him special from others? Personal perceptions that must be met to create an empathic bridge. Yet science has shown us that there is a certain objectivity, there is a numerical requirement that always guarantees a satisfactory result: in art, however I like to extend it to everything, it is known as the "golden section". In this irrational number, several philosophers and artists have come to grasp an ideal of beauty and harmony over time, pushing themselves to search for it and, in some cases, to recreate it in the anthropic environment as a canon of beauty. Well, whoever comes close to that number has won. But there is one thing to add, to appreciate the beauty of something you have to open up to it. People need to be educated to avoid prejudice.

You are right Franzilein, many here are genuine in their comments. I have nothing against them on the contrary, I try to overcome the wall of their words and I try to look at things as they do. This makes it grow a lot. I hate those who hide their hatred in something that should be a passion, a sharing, a fun. I am as sensitive to education as I hardly fight bullying. Why do I have to shut up? Maybe nothing changes but if someone says stupid things I tell him that he is stupid. It's not an offense it's a fact

But ... at the end of all these good speeches it is better not to get nervous and enjoy the show. Basically I thank God for the existence of haters too, I can say that they are like a crossword puzzle. They keep our minds trained xup

How to conclude?... after talking to you ... I will walk towards my work pervaded by this sweet and at the same time melancholy song...

I know ... I'm crazy! I always love to play down speeches. I don't like to take myself too seriously

Good evening xlove

Whoever wins wins! Once the ESC is over, I just want to have a nice party on the notes of "Loco Loco" and with Mrm as DJ xmusicxyaaay
