For sure he/she will go with the song that wins Sanremo, but this will be cleared only when the singer will be chosen (so it should be a decision of him/her and his/her team).

She's one of the few new young record-selling artists who's never been to Sanremo; she was there only once as a guest appearance with Emma, if I'm not mistaken. She sold so much with her albums tat she never felt the need to risk her career in a competition (same story as always, really big artists don't go to Sanremo).

Yes, she was, when they had a night on Sanremo where a song becomes a duet (Emma & Alessandra - Non è l'inferno).

Alessandra has been twice in Sanremo, once in 2010 to duet with Valerio Scanu and the second time in 2012 to duet with Emma Marrone, so basically a special guest, but actually never been an effective contestant in our Festival.

.Great news though its up to Rai1.No doubt they will want a good result again.Lets hope Conti manages to pull off a very contemporary SR again so we get a great winner.

Talking about the decision to move the Eurovision final from Rai 2 to Rai 1, this could be a double edged weapon. I genuinely think that the great ratings results of 2015 in
have arrived thanks to a mix of Il Volo and Conchita Wurst and this means that it could be an exception hard to reach again the next year.
Now we have more pressure on the Eurovision 'cause Rai 1 "couldn't accept" the ratings described as a success on Rai 2.
But we also have to analyze that in these weeks the saturday show of Rai 1 (Ti lascio una canzone, that we used as our national final for the Junior Eurovision, and it's at its eighth edition) is collecting a series of bad results (after four live shows the average is like 3.322.000 viewers and the Eurovision final on Rai 2 on May reached 3.292.000) and constantly losing against the concurrent show on Canale 5.
Looking at the ratings of the last week on Rai 1:
Monday - Il Giovane Montalbano (fiction) 5.143.000 al 20.65%
Tuesday - Provaci ancora prof (fiction) 4.833.000 18.58%
Wednesday - Passione sinistra (movie) 2.789.000 11.22%
Thursday - Provaci ancora prof (fiction) 5.471.000 22.00%
Friday - Tale e Quale Show (Your Face Sounds Familiar) 5.195.000 22.84%
Saturday - Ti lascio una canzone (a sort of talent show for kids) 3.767.000 17.36%
Looking at the ratings of the last week of the concurrent channel Canale 5:
Monday - Un boss in salotto (movie) 3.890.000 15.82%
Tuesday - L'onore e il rispetto (fiction) 3.673.000 14.60%
Wednesday - Squadra antimafia (fiction) 4.190.000 18.7%

The gran final of the Eurovision 2016 will fight for sure with one of the live shows of Amici di Maria De Filippi, our most famous talent show. Krishoes,Amici di Maria De Filippi,Is Alessandra Amoroso doing it this year?.If not Conti will talk her into doing Sanremo and her big family will tune into ESC instead once she wins i hope,The fact ESC is going to Rai1 means the pressure is really on as well.Last year he delivered (for me) the best SR in 20 years with a very contemporary Campioni section.That should mean other top artists are more likely to do SR next year.It will be very hard for Conti to have as strong a year of course (top 5 this year were world class),but he is sure to try.
Rai1 for ESC also means they need a big star to win SR and go to Sweden,someone who can pull the viewers in.
We will know much more how strong SR is once we see the artists.

I think that sometimes we'll see Alessandra in Sanremo. I don't know if 2016 will be her year 'cause she always released her albums without being a participant in our festival and she sold lots of copies for each album. You know, usually italian artists use Sanremo to gain popularity if they are not "big stars" yet or to relaunch their career, so at the moment it seems that Alessandra doesn't need Sanremo, but everything could happen.

For Krishoes....Amici in Italy is one of most talent show in Iotaly...trouble that it have this success for 2 points.
1. Every year there are 2/3 artist or group that became teenager's idol (this year Kolors, last Dear Jack) and every year there is a new idol for this crowd.
2.Since 2012 there is also a one of biggest Italian radio (RTL 102.5) that have interest in Amici and pump in heavy rotation their songs (example this year "Everytime" became a superhit because RTL 102.5 broadcasted for 5/6 a day...for 6 Italians' milion.

Guisy Ferreri looks like she will have a new album out next year.After her big hit with Baby K this summer she might be on Conti's list.I thought "Ti porto a cena con me" was probably the best song in 14 and better than Contravento that won,but Arisa's delivery was/is world class.I doubt Guisy will trouble the podium,but i think her or Dolcenera are likely to be in the Campioni.

I agree with you, it's very likely that Giusy will take part in next Sanremo and, given this summer's success, she will be heavily boosted by her label. Dolcenera is doing well with her new album but don't forget she wasn't chosen by Conti last year, and the album was ready.

Yes very true.Like you i think Guisy is very likely and deserves it.Sony will want to keep pushing her.The key for me though is if their best artist enters.Alessandra Amoroso.I know she doesnt need to do SR and Sony might not want to risk it.She might not be jury bait like Malika,or as sweet as Arisa,but live she is very special.If she did go for it,with a great song i think she would be favourite.I guess the worry for her and Sony though would be if she didnt make the podium.With RAI pushing ESC though they will be praying a big star wins SR.Alessandra would make them happy i expect.Roll on the names
