I'm not a fan of the bilingual version. I think the song works beautifully in Italian, and English doesn't add anything except confusion... :-(

The best part is in Italian. And English suits to this song quite good. So she didn't make any bad changes even though ofc 100% Italian had been nice.

Love it!! This is now my fave, very Amy Winehouse esque but with the Zilli's own style. I'll be voting for this.

Oh great: now English too? I am still not completely over the loss of Per Sempre but I was just getting used to the new song for it the be ruined with English! Why always that bloody English? For sure now: no points for Italy!
It is time the language rule returns to the ESC....

Although I would have prefered this song fully in Italian, I disagree on a "language rule". Freedom of choice for every participant. If it works, it works, if not, then not - audience decides.

but u know what....?for me,for example, as greek, what s the point of sending in years songs in english to be more appealing...?do u really think that what makes a song be liked it is because people understand the lyrics...?dont forget that the vast majority hear the songs only once,at the night of the contest (maybe twice if they watch the semis as well....) And how may of these millions of people are so adequate in english to understand that well the lyrics of so many songs in a row...?

The English kinda fades into the song in this so I don't see why people are making such a big deal. It still works just like before and in my ears they haven't ruined it at all :)

No, I don't think that at all. It's the song (as a whole package) that is liked or not, at least that's how it should be. :)

It doesn't ruin the song: it's still great and it's still at the top of my voting list. But it was just as great in its 100% Italian version and I really don't see the point in translating it.

Well to be honest,
this song was translated to italian, not to english.
When Nina received the song for her new album,it was english song.

Folks, that's not translating. That's getting the song back at the way it was originally written. That's why it rings true this way.

Maybe it's time to change the lyrics in the info-bar above? I mean there's barely any Italian words left on this so it's kinda misleading

Are these correct? From Eurovision.tv

Unbelievable
I can't wait to go
But like a rolling stone
You hit me BoomBoomBoom

If you were my king
Would i be your queen?
Stop breaking up my heart
You kill me BoomBoomBoom

(Day & night it's a fight)
Don't know where you are
When I'm close you're far
Oh, no no

(Day & night, it's a lie)
I waste my tears and you shoot pool

L’amore è femmina
Se non riceve non si da
This is the mess u left
I'm out of love and it's a fact (you left, out of love and it's a fact)
I'm sure you'll smile
You have to go
You're an independent grown man after all
Out of love
Must have been sent from up above
La la la

Have you turned to stone?
King without a throne
You're great but not impressive
Lots of up and low

It's so typical
When it's time to go
You knock me on the floor
My heart goes BoomBoomBoom

(Day & night it's a fight)
Don't know where to start
When you're close I'm far
Oh, no no
(Day & night it's a lie)
I dried my tears but you want more

L’amore è femmina
Se non riceve non si da
Clean up the mess you left
I'm out of love and it's a fact
I'm sure you'll smile
Ready to go
You're an independent grown man after all
Out of love
Must have been sent from up above
La la la

Ma che caldo fa uh uh
I'll let you think twice
I don't wanna cause any pressure
But have you asked yourself why
I bought a brand new gun shot

L'amore è femmina
Se non riceve non si da (tic tac non riceve non si da)
La prendo comoda
Calcolo le possibilità (tic tac una possibilità)
Quello che vuoi
Se non ce l'hai
Siamo tutti insoddisfatti come mai
Femmina se non riceve non si da
La la la

This is in my top 3 this year. I did prefer the Italian version (largely because I prefer artists to sing in their native languages), but it still works very well in English. It makes me proud to be 1/8 Italian. :p
