Really?? But why? It's not like she would lose her pulse when singing a slow song, would she?
What a pity.

Her roots are into raggae and soul styles. However, nothing prevents her from singing more slow songs in the future.

Don't think that Italy can reach the same great result like in 2011, but also a nice song!

Top 10 is possible imo

I like this a lot more than Per Sempre but I gave it a 6 because I prefer the italian version!

I hope Nina Zilli will make great things in Baku and suprise all skeptics. On this moment this is No.1 song for me. It sounds as well in Italian or comboned Italian/English version, although Italian language is more suitable for such songs.
I also like "Per Sempre" very much, but I think "L'amore è femmina" has more prospects for ESC.

I wish I had.
Next monday she will be on tv. I begged her on Twitter to sing this song live so to have a taste of what we'll see in Baku. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Meanwhile, a picture of Nina meeting her fans, from her fanspage:

In terms of the draw, I think this is going to completely walk all over France.

I don't think the bilingual switching back in forth between languages is good, she probably should have done a clear cut half and half version.

I'm so happy that Italy takes part in the ESC this year, too, as they really increase the level of musical quality. I just heard the full Italian version of "L'amore è femmina" and I LOVE it even more than the English version :D

Have you also heard Per Sempre, which Italy originally was planning to send to ESC? It is even better. Much better. Eine eierlegende Eurovision-Wollmichsau würde ich sagen.

So bad they translated nearly the whole song into English. I'ts not that I don't like English, but Italian was just so right for this music!

It makes me soo sad how im still not really coming round to this song. I thought id give it a chance, thought that maybe im just a blinded, bitter Per Sempre fan.. but this new song still leaves me cold. From the moment it starts it feels unwelcoming to me.. Positives?.. It's Nina Zilli!!! And Nina Zilli is amazing. It's just such a dull, uninspired light pop-soul number. It's like being promised The Ritz and being taken for a McDonalds instead.
