Ehm? You need a lecture on why smoking is bad in 2014? I think pretty much everyone know that by now

I dunno, I don't detest smokers or anything, but it just looks cheap in a promo pic (especially since it's more like a sorta instagram pic and not a professional picture where the cigarette is used as some sort of art-prop.)

Wait, you don't agree that smoking is harmful or that it's an odd way of promoting yourself?

Actually, I can agree that holding a cigarette in stylistic/artistic pics can look quite effective, but it all depends, this is not one of those cases.

Israel chooses the Eurovision 2014 song


Today , Thursday, January 30 , the committee met to select three songs which song will be chosen to represent Israel at Eurovision 2014 Denmark.
87 songs were all criteria established and published articles of sending songs Committee IBA website . The songs were brought to the committee without the name of the writer and composer !

Committee members listened to all the songs and choose the best songs in two stages :
First , each member of the committee gave a score from 1 to 10 favorite songs on it .
In the second stage , selected the ten songs that received the highest scores . These songs were played back to the committee , and they rated each song according to conventional scoring system Eurovision Song Contest : The best song received 12 points , second got 10 points , third 8 points , and so on until one point.

According to the IBA Rules , the selected artist is also supposed to bring one or more songs to the Commission. Meu Finegold led one song . Committee members decided that the song is about rules terms and recommended its adoption . Ten songs that made it into the second selected three of these songs :

1 . Song : " same heart " words : Rami Talmid Composer: Rami Talmid

2 . Song : "stay with me" lyrics : Liran de Paz Music: Liran de Paz and chen Metzger Adar

3 . Song : "be proud" words : Mei Finegold Music: Mei Finegold


Each of these three selected songs will be produced clip. Clips will be shown at the press conference expected in late February . The three songs will be put to a vote by any means transmission of IBA : Channel One , Israel Radio Networks , and the IBA website for one week .
On Thursday , March 6 , will be presented a special broadcast three songs , which the audience will decide which song will represent Israel at Eurovision in Copenhagen, Denmark .

One of them Written in Hebrew and the other Two written in English.
But, as far as I know, the Eurovision Song sent, must be at least half Hebrew.
In late February, when we will hear the songs, we'll be smarter
