Is Lucie Silvas well known in Ireland?

Is there a reason why she is only composing and not singing too :?

Lucie Silvas used to date one of the Irish Rugby boys, Geordan Murphy.
Think they split up a few years ago though.

Lucie has always written songs for other artists so I guess this isn't a new thing for her.
She has written songs for acts including The Saturdays, Gareth Gates and Nadine Coyle.

Reading up a bit more on Eoghan is funny. His album in 2009 was apparently widely considered to be one of the worst albums ever recorded

I missed song 1 and 2 but song 3 was quite good, song 4 is a bit bland for eurovision. I like it though

Eoghan Quigg wasn't nearly as bad as I feared. I also like Heartbeat quite a bit. Be Mine is nice too (although Andrew Mann is pretty reliable that way) Don't hold on is bland and dated though. You don't remember me is a good one too, could be a grower.

Ireland in good national final shocker.

The Movie Song isn't as embarassing as I expected but it's still pretty horrible

I'm speechless (calm down calm down calm down)
Ooookk if i had to choose it'd be "Heartbeat" or "You don't remember me".

Same, they would be my two for eurovision.

I think my personal favourite is Andrew Mann

I've listened first three and all are decent compositions...I prefer Andrew Mann - "Be mine", if he can sing good live, it can be really nice performance.. :)

Then Patricia Roe - "Don't Hold On", it's quite dated but in a charming style dated to me, it reminds me of old UK ballads.. I like that! :)

And my least favorite is Eoghan Quigg - "The Movie Song", it;'a =a bit bland, but it's not bad at all, i like lyrics and story it tells..

Now let's move to the rest! :D

Can Linn - "Heartbeat", again totally all right, I'd place her on the 4th place though..they used a bit of Irish folk music in the end..but I;m still not sure if combination is good enough..sound was not that good, this is from radio, so I have to check in better sound and to see performances, after performances everything will be clear..but problem is they perform in "Late late show" so performances sometimes look very bad in that small place..

Larua O'Neill - "You Don't Remember Me" - I enjoyed this ballad, thought to rank them after listen to all of them, but I can't now..it's not easy cause I find many of them decent - good..so live performances will be pivotal! :)
