I don't like the song and if I look at the poll most others don't like it either. This won't qualify for the final.

My guess is the average age of member on this forum is around 30 or even older.
The song may be a bit too cool for them, LOL

I cannot focus on the song cause the guys really distract me especially their hairdo

LATEST NEWS FROM THE JEDS (thanks to DSP)

Lots of news! There will be a brand new version of Lipstick and this is the one we will hear on stage in Eurovision.

The video for the song will be directed by LA based Nigel ********************,(director of Hit Me Baby One More Time and Oops,I Did It Again, among many others).

Choreography for the song is being done by none other than Brian Friedman

The twins have even revealed a little about their Eurovision stage show. The theme is "transformation" and the act will start with them wearing outfits with lights on,before casting them off and the stage exploding into light

Or maybe the song is too immature to them ;)

And from what I can see a lot of younger members dislike'em too.
As myheartisyours already said before, you either or love hate this song, not a whole lot of middleground it appears. It just happens that more people dislike it but that shouldn't stop those who like the song supporting it.

Just silly accusations and name calling is uneccessary ;)

The song is ok. Sounds a bit like early 80thies. But I don`t know if this song will be liked.
I like their vulcanic like structure is a greeting to their neighbours from Island. ;)

Ah yes: Hair style - does anybody remember Adam Ant? His music wasn`t that different, but his outfit and his hair were more extreem. ;)

As I stated earlier, Jedward's idea of "taking it seriously" is more "being bombastic, being outrageous and being over the top".

I'm trying to be open about the revamped version. Still think it's going to take a lot to convince me but there's always hope, good luck Ireland!

Lipstick landed at #2 in the national Singles chart. Lady Gaga is #1.
Quite good result considering that previous Irish ESC entries used to finish lower in the few previous years.
