Because your statement undermines mine and other opinions regardless of whether you named names. That is a lack of respect for people who come here and say whether they like or dislike the song because you victimize these countries as having people here who speak against them no matter what. That is my problem with what you said.

Because that is my opinion! I had a problem with you saying that the United Kingdom should withdraw if we send another crap entry... what comes around, goes around!

Anyway I really dont want to argue. As I said to Aleks, I stated my opinion and Im sorry if that's offended anybody.

^Then don`t send a crap entry :)
I`m sorry, but my personal oppinion is that UK isn`t trying as hard as... let`s say Ukraine in ESC for the last decade.

Yes and my opinion was related to that of the topic and not on making someone else's opinion seem worthless. If you were against what I said in that topic then you should've argued your stance on it (which I think you did).

And wow, what a poor attitude you have. What comes around, goes around... :? I don't take stuff like this personally, but that doesn't mean I'll just let it happen.

ps. I think that both the UK and Ukraine try hard, endorsing really popular performers in our areas and trying to win despite all problems. Except the BBC started doing it in 2009 and kudos for that. We both have huge expenses and not the best financial state but we both deal with it.
Honestly, I secretly dream about Blue performing in our NF (like Jade did in 2009). I don't mind Jedward too even though I'm not a fond of this entry. But they managed to surprise me on the NF, maybe they can surprise me once again. After all their ESC performance won't look the same... or maybe not. It's up to them.

How have I made anybody's else's opinion seem worthless? I havent discussed anybody else's opinion, just said my opinion about how people say they want United Kingdom and Ireland to send something, and then we do, they dont like it. That is my opinion and I wont apologise for saying that. I did argue my stance and it really doesnt bother me tbh that you think that - Im just pointing out that dont moan when other people say things cuz you do it yourself!

Has anybody said they will be?
Personally I think some juries will be in support of them and some wont - I can easily see the British jury giving them big points.
But that's the thing. If they only receive some jury support (and I seriously don't see any, including the UK one, giving Jedward 12 points), they can't win... or possibly even get into the Top 10.

They'll qualify for the final and then have middling results (below the Top 10), most probably.

Yup and it's merely a coincidence that you said that after several people criticized the Irish entry, right? I never asked for an apology, nor do I want one, I just want people to know that my opinion and the opinions of others that have criticized the Irish entry are not due to some deep prejudice against this country like you implied it was.

Well that's your opinion. We send entries we like, shame nobody else does .

What did you mean under this? :?

Sorry, but this is utter nonsense. You send the entries you like, and we all send entries we don't like?

Also, if the song is liked in the native country, it doesn't mean it will be liked in Europe as well.

Where did I imply it was?

I mean that songs we've sent like Daz Sampson and Scooch where popular in the United Kingdom but not in Europe. You'd agree with that, Milos? ;)

I liked Daz Sampson and, while I hated it, a lot of people liked Scooch. However, I think if they had high-quality competition from a non-joke song, I don't think they would have won.
