It seems that some people are trying to find some reasons to make Loreen or Mans owning this staging or something like that.
Those excuses are... ridiculous somehow.

I didn't even think of Loreen. Kneeling in front of a dark background was invented by Loreen? :shock: I learned that only here today!
As far as Måns is concerned, there is one particular movement of her arm that reminds me of him but her staging is mostly quite different.

Actually, I really like the song now too although I wasn't completely convinced by it at first and it's true that I wouldn't have become interested in it that much without the staging.

Everyone should pay Lys Assia because of the copycats which have occured every year since 1957.

Whilst watching the live webcast of Söngvakeppnin 2016 last night, the two songs I most wanted to reach the final sing-off were "Hear Them Calling" and "Now". The voting procedure confused me to say the least, but once the voting was finished, I was glad "Hear Them Calling" and "Now" were voted top two, and therefore went into the sing-off. During the sing-off, I was undecided about which I wanted to win. Anyway, come finish with, I'm glad "Hear Them Calling" won, I think that was the better song of the final two won.

Good luck to Greta Salóme when she sings "Hear Them Calling" in the first semi-final on Tuesday 10 May 2016. Whether or not she qualifies to the Grand Final is another matter, it's all according how the other first semi-final participants' songs compare to Iceland's entry which will determine whether or not the judges and public vote for Greta.

It sounds fine in English, and the fans watching on Saturday night aren't going to know or care there was an Icelandic version. I prefer it to, but it was the only logical choice to make.

The "Hear them calling me" bits sounded like a tune I'd heard before. Then I remembered it's the tune of the Bone Dance from Hannah Montana, oh gotta love American tele. Will never be able to take this song seriously after that xD
