The video gave me goosebumps, also they did a great language adaptation, choosing the words that phonetically match the icelandic version, it didn't lose anything imo. I'm so excited and happy

The english is at least perfectly done and fits well. It has not turned out bad at all. I understand why you are not happy though A-lister. I prefer it when countries stick to their own languages. They should just use english for promotional purposes.

She didn't even give the fans a chance to have a say like Zeljko did, she just released the revamped version in English to make it overshine the Icelandic one... I mean where's the revamped Icelandic version? Does it even exist?

I didn't mean it won't do good, and that's probably what they thought about ONLY (unlike what she's trying to say in the video), it's just a lost opportunity in case of music.

Nope, it's still the same amazing song with the same amazing singers and amazing arrangement and energy.

I remember arguments under Magda Tul videos last year, there were comments like: "I've payed my 3zl for SMS for Jestem and you changed the song to English? I want my money back!"

I think what A-lister wrote is great solution. Iceland should change the rule in their NF and allow songs in English, but if you do a song Islandic keep it Islandic, English - keep English and we won't have situations like this with Mundu eftir mér.

There is revamped Islandic verison, she said they recorded both versions with orchestra in this arrangement and then the decision was made.

Yeah, no surprise there, they made it look better because they didn't even release a revamped version of the Icelandic one so that people could have a say.

Is it only me, or the English version is AMAZING and gives the song even more chances to be in the top 5? It gives it a more international appeal, it can be easily played in all countries in music tv channels, and I bet it will be a very big hit around Europe! And instead of falling from my top 10, it is actually climbing some places in my personal top 5!!!!!!!!!!!

And imagine, I was loving and defending the Icelandic version with passion and I was 100% against singing in English! But, everything changed when I listened to it now! Well done! And the music video is awesome! I'm gonna vote for Iceland for sure!

My main concern after a few listens is that a lot of the drums have gone, and several of the opening sections have been cut. Ignoring the language change, I think she has made the music worse. Not much worse, but still worse. She thinks herself as a genius, I can assure her she is not.

No, that's not really what I was saying (I have yet to say anything on that matter), but many people seem to like the new arrangement and I do think it's an unfair way to present it (not that I'm surprised).

Changing to english could've been a fail, but i think they sing very well and the lyrics are good too, the revamp helps sure - regardless this is one of the best entries this year.
