Yeah, after all they all have almost 10 months to decide if they want to try applying for the ESC, to pick/write a song, make a good arrangement, work on vocals, write lyrics in at least 15 european languages and decide which one they like the most before the deadline  I don't get that in-rush-the-last-moment remastering, re-arranging, language change.

I know right!? If they couldn't put more work into that before, then boo-hoo for them.

EBU needs to change the rules, people should get what they vote for and nothing else.

I love it! I love it! I love iiiitttt!
1st the video is the best that I've seen for a while. The storyline, the places where its taken. just a-m-a-z-i-n-g
2nd unbelievable that I'm saying this, but I love English version. Icelandic and English are for me now 50/50.
I'm just a bit worried for their accent. that's it.

Iceland to 2nd place in Baku! I wouldn't mind also 1st place. I'm between Sweden and Iceland sooo... I wish them all the best!!!

^ Well I prefer the icelandic version so my comment in Greta's status is negative about the english version.

Ask her why she didn't revamp the Icelandic one and atleast gave people a fair chance to choose like Zeljko did?

Well, I was so against the English version before but I LOVE IT! Amazing! But the chorus doesn't stand as much as the Icelandic version.

Somehow this version reminds me of Nightwish (Anette Olzon era).

The icelandic version was a 12 pointer to me, but while the english version isn't bad it doesn't have the same impact as the icelandic one to me.

SO I guess that my final score will be 7 points.

I was so gutted when I checked the article's title about this entry on esctoday.com The video seems truly magical, but to be honest, I can't appreciate it at all, due to the English version which I'd say is rather worse than the Icelandic one. Neither does it flow that well, plus they seem to have a bit of a weird accents, and it's not like the lyrics are genius... When will Iceland stop being so afraid to show their identity? Why do people not seem to care at all about being patriotic and are such sell-outs? I guess it'll take years for these questions to get their respective answers. I'm still hoping for them to go with the Icelandic one, 'cause in the same article I was referring to earlier in my post, it doesn't say anywhere they've chosen the English one, and the last time I checked on eurovision.tv, the Icelandic title was still to be the one found when browsing throught the page for the first semi-final. :)

Shame they've changed it to English, it sounded magical in Icelandic. :(

The video is great, though. :)

I hope you're right, however Greta said herself that the version premiered will be their ESC version :(

But yeah, let's hope for some miracle and they go with Icelandic version instead, it's true there's yet no news about this English version on EBU's own page.

I hope she didn't lie when she said that she also did a revamp of the Icelandic version? But so far it seems that was just made-up.

Okay, that does it. I still think Iceland is a deserving winner, but you're no longer my number one.

Is it only me, or the English version is AMAZING and gives the song even more chances to be in the top 5?

I agree, I like it the same as in the Icelandic verision.

It lost some of it's beauty because of the language, but gained some ...purpose with me understanding it better with the English version, so all in all, I liked it just as much before as I do now :)

I am not going to change my opinion, because of the language change. Simply - the song is magical! :) I do agree that on Icelandic is 1000x better, but now it has a chance to take Sweden down and get a wider appeal.
Love the aurora borealis at the end. :D

Main difference Sweden's entry is contemporary club-pop and makes sense in English, this doesn't.
