This is the best chosen song from yesterday. My 2nd fave so far. I love how serious it is and violin parts are amazing. I just love it. 10 points!

Exactly! However there's a strong anti-Euro lobby who has worked their way into the juries which wants to transform this into something else... let's stop them while we can!

Support native languages, support local-styled songs... (as long as they are good of course) !!!

They won with just a couple of 100 votes, but that's how it goes with juries involved, however this time around they did a good job.

Yes, and for me that is the reason why ESC exist, thats his purpose.
I mean I can hear Madonna styled songs everyday but not tradition and culture of different european nations. So for me is OK when Turkey send song in oriental music style, but its not OK when Norway do it, from Norway I want Norwegian product. That is one of the reason why am I proud on my country, we try to keep our language and tradition

But unfortunately it seems that majority don't share the same opinion or maybe I expect too much from Eurovision, I don't know

Whilst I do agree with the comment about the chorus not quite matching the build which leads you to expect something stronger, this is my clear favourite so far. And I also agree with the comments about keeping it in Icelandic. Oh, and I'm glad he's lost the mullet from the photo above

Very good choice. This song has huge potential and I think it will be very well prepared and more classy for the ESC. Can't wait to see and hear Icelandic performance in May. I love it, in my opinion it's best song chosen so far. I'll give it 12 pts.
Ofcourse, it should stay in Icelandic language

I find this song pretty bland. To me, it looks like something from Eurovision anno 1998. I guess it's cool though, that it's so "icelandic" and not americanized at all. They also look kinda charming together, but overall, I think this somehow radiates something conservative and old-fashioned...

1998 happens to be one of my favorite ESC years ever so I don't have a problem with that

I also think they should keep it in icelandic, but i have no idea whether they intend to do so...
