Not sure why people keep comparing it to Origo as a negative. That was 2 years ago, and he's going up against a new field. Time to wipe the slate clean. It needs to be judged on it's own merits.

well hungary sure did the best they could after those fucking a dal jurors burned us one final time. the a dal format isn't even BAD; their opinions are just beyond the pale. i would have preferred gergo szeker, fatal error or middletonz over joci, but since THEY WERE ALL KILLED joci was the next best option. at least it wasn't one of the boring girls. please get a staging though joci thx. 7 points.

This is absolutely beautiful, musically and lyrically, and for me Hungary's best ever entry in Eurovision.
With a bit more effective staging, I really think it'll be top 10 and with a good draw, could be their best result yet!
I'm so glad he won 12 points from me!

I completely get that some people don't like the song (I mean, obviously, we all have different tastes), but I've already read many comments saying it's the same as Origo and how can you say that when they have nothing in common? Well, they're both in Hungarian, if that's what it is

I just saw and listened to Joci's final performance again. I give the song a 8 first, but I think I might need to upgrade this. For me Joci is such a strong performer. He has a strong and distinctive yet sensitive voice that I really enjoy listening to. Adding to that he has stage presence and connects very well with... hmm... me, at least.
And lots of us, me included, want more diversity in the languages - and this not being in english makes it even better for me; better and more genuine.

Hungary wont win, but I do thing they can sneak into top 10 again, or end up close to top 10.

Why not? I vote according to my first impression and it was too hard for me to listen to the full song. So, there's a failure of captivation. It's not a zero (yet), so don't complain.

My post wasn't a complaint. I just pointed out how silly it is to rate a song you didn't even bother to listen to until the end. And yes, if a song is that unlistenable for you, it should be a zero. But I'm glad you at least agree your post was silly.

I don't call my own comment silly, you just want to perceive it as silly, because you don't get it or you can't have it, and write a silly comment yourself. I hope you are still glad, because I don't charge for the advice.
