Even the ustable political condition and the mess with the ERT's closure did not prevent us from participating.

It is more possible for hell to get frozen than Greece to withdraw form ESC

Anyway, these are good news! xcheer

Would have been interesting without Greece, but let's see if they do something good.

Good to see Greece in! It would've been strange having a final without Greece!!!

Well, I disliked their last 4 entries (2013: 38/39, 2012: 28/42, 2011: 37/43, 2010: 39/39), but they were in my TOP 10 3 times since 2004. Regardless of results, I'm really happy to see them in! Let's see what they'll send in 2014! :D

I think that Greece will participate again, the government doesn't want the belief of a weak country for the foreigners and the Greek people as well...

SO, I WAS RIGHT BEFORE THE GOOD NEWS!

Great news! :D Regardless of their economic situation, they will still continue to make Europe happy with their entries! :D

Have never really considered the possibility of greece not joining. Couldn't envisage eurovision without them. 2012 being the sole exception, they never bore us with average, bland songs. They are never "just one more".

Welcome!

Thank you so much for your kind words!
I think Greece should try to keep having interesting entries like 2011 & 2013 !

It's great you're in, but please no more crappy rap destroying what could be a potentially great song or novelty ska...

Why was that novelty ska? Because it had the word alcohol in the title? Amazing song, and the best greek entry since they won,in my opinion.

Taste differs, and no it's hardly just the title that made the song novelty...

Greece is one of my favourite countries in the contest. But I have to admit that my favourite greek entries are not the most "profound" pieces of music; Die for you, Everything, My number one, Sokrati.
On the other hand: Loukas Giorkas' performance in Watch my Dance has been one of the hightlights from the last 10 years of the competition.
