Well, he must have done something right because before 2004, Greece had been pretty much a flop country in ESC (in terms of success) and generally speaking Greece had better entries during his years than after that.

Eleni would be GREAT! I wanted her for years already!

Its 80% sure that Greece will participate in 2014 !
For 5th year in a row,Greece will manage to take part in Esc despite the financial and economic crisis in the country.
In a few days the new Greek national broadcaster becomes an active member of the European Broadcaster Union re affirming the collaboration of Greece with EBU.
Eurovision Song Contest along with other projects like the Winter Olympics 2014 in Sochi will be aired through NERIT.

Today Mrs Areti Kaselaki,from Public Station (that is going to be Nerit in a few days),
said to an interview to ogaegreece "We have to give 120.000 euros,either we take part,or not.So we decided to take part.We will make the official announcement in the first ten days of December."
