Probably, Greece will have new TV broadcaster - NERIT. Most likely, it will be member of EBU. Anyway, I don't think that they withdraw is ruled out. Political and economic situation of country, still is not positive. In my opinion, Greek goverment could forbid the participating, because "it's too expensive, unnecessary".

If the only solution for the new broadcaster and the only way they can participate in future years is withdrawing in 2014, then I don't mind it.

For Cyprus then. But I don't think this will ever happen for either country. I don't think their relationship is the best. During ESC 2012 the greek tv stations portrayed them as rivals and that there was a fighting going on between them. They performed together at the greek NF 2013 and when they finished Eleftheria tried to "high five" Ivi but she failed. I don't know if Ivi didn't do it intentionally or if she actually didn't see it but after that Star channel interviewed Eleftheria and asked her about the incident and she replied "Ok the girl didn't see it". That "girl" was said in a quite pejorative (don't know if this is the right word to describe it) way...

If you go on Wikipedia it says that Cyprus is still yet to decide, i do think that What Greece do, Cyprus will follow with. So, you honestly think Greece will not participate this year? if so then you can rule Cyprus out as well.

Hmm Cyprus is not Greece's little sheep? It could influence their decision but I wouldn't go as far as saying rule out.

Anyway I do think there's no chance will see Greece next year.

No I don't think we'll be in Copenhagen. I want us to participate but we shouldn't.

I'm not saying that Cyprus is their sheep. But as you put it, i think it will influence their decision a great deal. "Oh Greece have withdrawn, because of that we will as well stating financial difficulties" and When Greece announce their withdrawal, i bet not long after so will Cyprus.

I would hate to see them go - They always produce quality music for the show, and for some unknown reason the do quite well out of the UK for points, despite not giving much back in return
