Eurovision will continue to exist without Greece.
Italy,Luxemburg,Turkey,Portugal,Bosnia, and many other countries have missed an esc year or stopped entering.

ERT managed to compete without costs in the last 2 years thanks to sponsorships, so I think that money isn't a problem. I believe that the main issue is of bureaucratic nature: will NERIT get EBU's membership before the deadline for ESC?
I hope so. I want, among other things, a second chance for Thomai Apergi. xcheer

Well yeah, when there weren't semifinals, it was common to see countries that didn't have good points, not qualifying for the next edition.

True, Eurovision will continue to exist with or without Greece, but I just hope it's just one year!!! I just see Greece as one of the most interesting countries. So even though I might not have been my cup of tea all the time, Greece always receive good placements and send interesting songs.

Greece is my favorite Eurovision country, so it definitely would not be the same without them :( -- for me, at least.

Yeah, I'm mentally preparing myself for a withdrawal. Despite all the sadness around this, it's comforting to know that the vast majority of withdrawals are temporary and regardless of the decison Greece will be back eventually.

Sure they'll be back but it might take a while not only for the broadcaster to be ready but also for the government to accept it. What I'm saying is that Greece might be one of the currently inactive countries that will stay out the longest but they'll returno.

(IF Greece participates)
when the Greeks realize that Cyprus is out, they will be furious.
They will all say "Oh Cyprus is in worse situation from us,and they withdraw, why do we keep giving money to this?"

I'm the only person here that don't care for Greece in ESC?

I don't always like the music the Greek broadcaster has entered either. However at least the audience in Greece care about Eurovision more than most other places and that arguably counts for something.
