Just. Do. It.

99% of the time I prefer accoustic versions of songs. And this song is definitely no exception.
Yes.

I tend to absolutely hate acoustic versions of songs but this is an exception. This is the only way to make it at least tolerable.

I am sorry. I wasn't aware we are in kindergarten and we aren't allowed to criticise.

I give this song a :0: because I think it deserves that. I am sorry I am not throwing :12:s at every song I hear. I think a :12: should be something special.
giving a song some support is not like being a kindergaden. If you think so i cant help you so xleft

ROOOOFL in the Q&A video he's asked what inspired him to write the song and he says "a real love story that I had only once in my life, and this person has really been the best in me"

Gurl, are you for real ????
Somebody remind him it's not himself who wrote the song.

I can understand the comparisons to Micheal Rice last year having finally listened to the track; much like 'Its Bigger than Us' its a fine track for what it is, its inoffensive, its not a slog to listen to and Leeb sings it very well and I imagine (or at least hope) that on the night he'll really give it his all. But even with that said the song itself is just fine. It feels like an X Factor winner's single from the early 2010's, sung well but its ultimately unremarkable and will fade from mind almost as soon as the next song on the night rolls in.

Goodness help him if this song gets sandwiched between two more exiting and eye catching songs like what happened to Rice last year because if it is then almost regardless of how well he sings it its going to sink.

And at this point, going off his writing for Eurovision at least, can we all agree that Lundvik is kind of a crummy writer? This, 'Bigger than Us' and 'Too Late for Love?' singing and staging not withstanding are all just really bland and generic pop songs that just feel like the pop music equivalent of paint by numbers!

John Lundvik, Amir, Léa Ivanne and him. 4 people coming together to write his personal story lmao. Why try to make the song sound personal to you, when you've not even penned it and wrote the lyrics with 3 others

No way. They just came up with translating a few English phrases to French ones to please the French public (because the song needed to be partly in French, otherwise they would be rioting by now). The song's composition, arrangement, lyrics, melody is totally Lundvik and G:son.

On an astrological side note: Jupiter in Capricorn is not very original and progressive in taste in music and styles. The Eurovision songs so far a testament to that. However, the choice of older people this year could win, because Capricorn is the sign of maturity and old age and Jupiter stands for beneficial things. Tom Leeb's song sounds perfect for the elderly.

Jupiter was in Capricorn in 2008 as well... when Dima Bilan won. Can we expect something as awful to win again? Tom Leeb will not have a massive diaspora vote as Dima Bilan though.

It's the type of song that will look good on stage but will probably get lost in the shuffle. I wish this was more hmm serious (?) as opposed to being so Disney. I want to like it, it's France and I usually stan for them, but the struggle is real with this one. He is nice to look at, so there's that at least.

This is probably finishing last or 2nd last. Its horrific in every way possible.Even the bridge is just gut wrenching. We cant even knock it out in the semi.No wonder the French are rioting every weekend, never mind pensions, this is enough to drive anyone mad.
