I genuinely think Erika could have surprisingly won the televote in the final, like Keiino who stayed true to themselves and connected with the public in a way. It would be very wise to send a schlager song this year, but Finland chose to send the worst ballad so far. The more i think about the more i lose my sanity. How on earth can this pillowfest win over Cicciolina, my potential winner. And btw he sings like my grandma, out of air every 10 seconds.

Sorry sis but then all those spotify streamers and 1m youtube viewers should have dropped that 1 euro cash and voted for her yesterday night. I am shooketh that there can be only 5 points televote difference between Aksel and Erika. I'm already done with the juries, they stupid. But what about televoters? How on earth there can be such a close call between the two in the televotes. UNBELIEVABLE.

I'm so disappointed and heartbroken

Literally one of my least favourite songs in this NF won with one of the most boring iteration of a ballad we had in this years' national selections.

What a waste... This year's NFs really annoyed me. Aside from Samanta Tina, I've lost pretty much all my big favourites. (fortunately Israel and Romania already has the artist locked down). If it wasn't for the fandom on twitter and this forum I'd be more bitter rn. Y'all made this season more bearable and I thank you for it

Maruv was never going to Eurovision. She was only there for promotion. Ask Ukrainian forumers to confirm it.

I actually really like this. It's not really my genre but this song is very gentle, almost vulnerable even. And the performance as a whole works very well. I definitely prefer this to Cicciolina which was awfully tacky and not in a good way.

This is just my theory, but perhaps being only man in the competition was Aksel's strenght, because there wasn't any male singer to get votes away from him. Only thing, what I like Aksel is his voice, but "Looking Back" is not right song to him to sing. And moreover he really needs to learn to keep his eyes open, when he perform.
