I see that the match between :ch: and ::cr tomorrow will have a referee from :fr: It's quite amazing how :ch: is "boosted" from the very beginning. First a (technically) irregular goal against :br:, then the match with us where the referee had a direct impact in the final outcome and now it appears that they fixed a referee for the last match as well. Just in case if ::cr appears to be a tough nut to break and if the potential result on the duel between :rs: and :br: doesn't fit them.

But when you take into account that Infantino is Swiss himself and the seat of Fifa is also in :ch: one shouldn't be too surprised.

Group C playing in a few minutes. Actually I can see that leading anywhere. Denmark beating France, losing and Australia winning with the right margin, Peru saving Denmark or Denmark and France giving us the first 0-0. Tho I like Denmark, I think Australia would be a nice addition to the K.O.-rounds as they showed strong performancesso far. Europeans will be in there more than enough. Many more than in 2010 and '14 probably

Denmark vs France is such a snoozefest, I guess it will be the first 0:0 :?

I can't stand France under Dechamps. I hope they will never win anything in his tenure

France have made 6 changes against Denmark and it certainly has effected their play. Dembele has had a few wild efforts wide but he’s been one of their brighter players along with rb Djibril Sidibe down the right side. Steve Mandanda in his first ever world cup start has looked fine although he hasn’t had much to do. Denmark are happy to see this out 0-0 I think

HT Denmark 0 France 0

Have faith their will be a goal and the streak will be extended to 36 games without a 0-0 draw.

At least Dolberg got some playing time and Mendy too but both teams clearly happy with a 0-0 draw.

I'm really conflicted which 2:00 pm game to watch next.

Why couldnt Croatia let Iceland win? Now Croatia can look how Argentina will come further.

Because that wouldn't be a fair play, the most important thing in sports... and Croats have dignity. Also, they are only focus on what their team can accomplish and how far they can get in the competition themselves.
Croatia and Argentina are the fair qualifiers. Iceland gained sympathy for being underdog, but their football is ultra conservative, they were just lucky to be seeded in the weakest UEFA qualifying group.

Nigeria would have deserved it so much. Just hope that Argentinia will lose against France. Argentinia didn't convince in one of the three games.

I wasnt 100% serious tbh.
Btw Poland had the weakest Group with Romania as seeded Team.

Excellent match by Iceland.
Sadly, we missed at least 6 excellent chances. Usually efficiency is one of our strengths but today when we needed it the most the ball just didnt want cross the line of Croatian goal :(
Beating Croatia was possible this time. Well, we were lucky in the last Euro, this time the luck wasnt with us. Shit happens.
At least we proved tonight we are able to play decent football and not only defend 90 minutes.
I hope this wont stay the last WC for Iceland xpray
