Hats off to Senegal and Japan xfaint one of the most entertaining matches in this World cup, I am very surprised
I hope both will qualify especially since they are maybe the only hopes of their continents

Lewandowski will come back stronger at Euro 2020. James Rodriguez was on another level tonight.

I will never understand European people who support South American teams rather than European teams :?

Shame for Poland but they dont deserve any better... they looked clueless and uninspired.
Now I guess Columbia will knock Senegal out :(

Well, Poland was just one of the most boring teams in the tournament. So I just like Colombia instead with some fantastic football players like James and Falcao. I also like Japan, they can play the passing game with just playes from the Japanese competition. We've seen it today, but another good example is Kashima Antlers vs. Real Madrid. We Europeans don't always know how to handle them and I love it. Then I'm from NL and so would love to see Germany early out, just so we can troll you back. Sometimes European teams are just bland, like Poland this time, so I just cannot like them over Colombia. Though I like Colombia by far the most os S. America.

In the end you will remain the team, that couldn't win a single WC final and didn't qualify for 2 tournaments in a row ;)

I know, it hurts enough. Though not qualifying doesn't hurt as much as the 2010 final.

I agree with Himan with the exception that I do want to see Germany in. However, I supported Mexico and Colombia because imo they play better (and why not, speaking the same language creates a special bond with those countries too). The only reason I don't really like Argentina is because the fans are way too dramatic and I hate it.

Poor Panama :( But :en: really showed class on this match, a deserved victory. Both sides had something to be proud of here. Panama scored a historical goal and :en: showed a very promising play for the future. And everyone can be happy :D

:jp: and ::sn were both amazing in the second match. I would really like to see both teams pass the group as they both show great dedication and an equally great play as well.

I don't know what happened with :pl::( In both matches the team lacked energy and somehow they were clueless on what to do. They were also relying on Lewandowski way too much. I expected a lot from :pl: but sadly, we didn't get what we expected :(

Everything is quite clear today for Group A and B. Russia and Uruguay are through, and I bet Spain and Portugal will make it. Tomorrow will be more exciting, especially Group D. :D And talking of Europeans teams, for me it mostly depends how a team is playing. I root a lot for smaller countries who show passion to win. Therefore I am hoping for Columbia or Mexico. Even though the latter ... since I hope Germany will make it, it would mean that Sweden is out. And I love Sweden to reach the next round too. But now, I am more for Mexico.

I can happily say we are just joking around a bit. Time is a real good thing in forgiving stuff. I was in Croatia and Serbia two years ago. (Those countries were in a war 20 years ago or so) and I realised that how they reacted on each other must be similar on how we reacted on Germany twenty years after the war in 1965. So I really can say time will heal all wounds, cause often, Dutch people want to see Germany win. And we are mostly just brothers and sisters right now.

xgood You put it into words perfectly. And I believe that NL will sooner or later come back stronger.
