What a horrible, horrible, horrible year for eurovision regarding the songs. Only 7 songs are good, the rest is meh. But the winning song will be revealed tomorrow.

I only see Bulletproof way ahead of anyone else.

Possible winners: Sweden/Russia/Malta

Runner-ups: Bulgaria/Italy

Grand Final: Lithuania, Belgium, Albania

No Final: Slovenia, Belarus, Poland, Portugal, Armenia, Croatia

I am not ready for more predictions at this point, because there is no point

I can't believe I'm saying is but this year is PRETTY DARN GOOD so far! I was one of the steady complainers the second half of the last decade, because I didn't like most songs most years but this time... boom! What a great start to start the '20s! And there are even not all songs released so far! At first I was a bit disappointed when the first songs came out but then quality came in more and more. This year is CRAZY. Retro vibes all the way. The different styles of music remind me a bit of the wild years 2004-2009 though in a modern facing. I am so excited to see how it will turn out for everybody.

I agree with you that this year is very, very divers.Thats a good thing, but there is not a single entry I really like listening to.

UMK, DMGP and Melfest are really taking place at the exact same time tonight :rolleyes:

We are watching DMGP live and then streaming Melfest after. So no social media, ESCunited or anything tonight. Just my family and I on the couch with snacks and voting papers (yes, we give points to all the songs during the show to find the "family winner" :LOL: both in DMGP and Melfest).

I really look forward to watch Erikas performance and I hope they'll upload it on YouTube quickly, so I can watch it during one of the boring songs in DMGP.

I watched it for the first time in 1995 (I was 8) and like every gay guy I know I was with my mother :D
I remember the most that she felt in love with the songs from "that beautiful woman with the fish eyes" (Spain) and Nocturne (norway) that eventually ended up as the top 2 so her taste was quite spot on. And of course we joked about how horrible the german entry was and laughed at how we didn't get anything until that 1 pity vote from the penultimate jury from Malta (and after that the german tourism to the island saw a heavy increase). And during the winners reprise my dog (then a puppy) started to bark like crazy as if he had enough from it - what a perfectly unpatriotic introduction to ESC that was for me.
