Are you so stupid that you think you’ve won an argument once the other person starts ignoring you? Oh, boy, you need to learn a few life lessons. 90% of the time it means the other person has won, really. And in your case, it definitely means they have won.

That being said, I hope we don’t get these ‘spontaneous’ jokes from the hosts, but I wouldn’t want the hosts to disappear completely. Even though it usually is just some background noise to me, I think hosts are an important part of the contest. Otherwise it would not feel like a show anymore.

I'm not even sure if he ever learned how to citate. But aNyWaYs

I feel Eurovision without host doesn't feel like Eurovision. Sure the jokes were awkward most of the time, but Eurovision isn't exactly formal -- we still need interactions with both the public and the participants, so hosts would have to be a core requirement

Let's review some of the remarkably jury-friendly placements these countries get in the past 5 years. jury points =J, Televote points =T, Q=Qualified. If there's a year higher in televote, i will put (higher in televote) instead.

...

(I hink it was a mistake making this as a reply to a particularly disliked forum member. I'll probably make the ones for televoting next time to compliment this)

The list you have made is quite interesting, true. But I really dont think you can conclude anything from looking at 5 years of each participating country. The number of entries concidered is way to low to give this any statistical significance.

Indeed, for a more concrete statistics there should at least be point data from 2009 plus I have to do some ANOVA, but after that it deserves to be a solid thread of its own

So LED Screens confirmed? that's good, as much as I liked the stage in Lisbon, I must admit that they were some songs that would have benefited from having an LED wall.

It was okay in Lisbon but I feel LEDs are necessary
Bulgaria should’ve had LEDs in 2018... always said so, needed a better setting

I'll fix it for you: Bulgaria 2018 needed a better stage director.

LEDs or no LEDs, Jean Baptiste always messes up when she's responsible for several acts.

Yeah I know Sacha always messes some of her acts up, and «Bones» was rudely neglected for «Fuego» but doesn’t change the fact that I always thought it needed LEDs to create the vibe of the song on the stage

Some of the staging was nice though, but I don’t think that the platform was necessary at all

They claimed to have dealt 750 m2 of LED wall, so it would be comparable to the ones in Kiev that spanned 680 m2. Since Ahoy also has a suitable height it's going to be a massive tall wall.
