Same, I think we all might have been carried with it being the anniversary. But it doesn't seem to be having any affect on countries to make an effort.

I hope not. The more the merrier as I always say. I hope we'll have 2 semis, not 1 (if we had lesser participants)

But maybe also a few broadcasters already spoke with the ebu but didn't make it public 'cause they can still withdraw until October...

I agree. I think we can only be 100% sure after the list of participating countries comes out. Plus EBU might very well extend the deadline like last year, who knows.

I think there will be deadline extensions for sure, because I can't imagine how many countries will confirm anything, assuming that their broadcaster budgets for next year are known somewhere in November. By the way, could someone explain why this year the deadlines are so early?

Preliminary confirmation for Israel.

I'm so happy, I didn't expect that and I thought they'd widthraw. There is a chance we'll see them in Viena!

Now I'm waiting for Poland's confirmation. I keep checking their website and facebook but I think we'd get any information in Świat się kręci about 6:30 pm CET (or whatever the time zone is called - 6:30 pm Polish time )

They just revealed the topics they'll be talking about and it's nothing about Eurovision

Probably Telewizja Polska confirmed our participation, but they just don't want to say anything to us

I think that TVP will give the confirmation soon... But they could give the sign now.. today is the first deadline
