Why?
To have a chance to watching amaters like Honduras, Iran, Ecuador etc etc etc. 24 countries on EC is tooooooo much and that champ will be boring with low quality (same for basketbal champ)
For me its more important to give the chance to more countries to compete.
After all,let the best wins.

And to have many boring games like Honduras vs Ecuador or Nigeria vs Iran, boring to dead. In basketbal Euro we had Georgia, Finland, Estonia, Sweden??? For me its entertaining to watch Georgia or Armenia in football same as Serbia in baseball!

What is the point to have qualifications when half of the continent can take a part in major tournament?

Lets hope that in World Cup also we will see in the future 40 countries.

only if we'll see 8 more european teams because Cameroon,Honduras,Iran and South Korea are just as good as 3rd placed teams from uefa qualifications

That would really be too much, although I don't mind European one having 24 teams. :D

If it happens,
then Europe will have only ONE of the 8 tickets, according to mr.Platini.
2 tickets will go to Africa,2 to Asia,1 to Oceania,1 to North/Central America and 1 to South America.

I wanna see new countries too and I don't think the same ones will keep coming. Cote D'Ivoire's generation is about to be changed, so we might see someone else on the scene. Ethiopia was close by and so was Burkina Faso. It can happen for them. No need to add 40 teams on the World Cup Stage.

Hey, it mean Scotland might actually make it, so I'm happy.
I wouldn't mind seeing Scotland there or anyone else (Latvia made it in 2004 with just 16 teams, Slovenia in 2000 together with Norway), just wish there would be 16 teams. I know that Scotland and Ireland were the ones initiating it. Too bad they are in the same group. One of them might end 4th.

Like I did with the World Cup now, I have checked out on the Fifa.com head-to-head-search, which countries would qualify from each group. I have taken the latest encounters the countries had on homesoil, and if they haven't met each other before it has ended in 0-0 ties. The only country that I haven't counted in is Gibraltar, since they are not included in the search yet. This is how it ended:

Group A:
:nl: +11 22p
:cz: +7 15p
:lv: +4 13p
:tr: -2 11p
:kz: -4 6p
:is: -16 6p

Group B:
:be: +8 22p
:il: +6 17p
:ba: +3 15p
:wale: -2 11p
:cy: -3 11p
:ad: -11 4p

Group C:
:es: +17 26p
:sk: +3 14p
:ua: +2 12p
:lu: -8 9p
:mk: -5 8p
:by: -8 8p

Group D:
:de: +13 18p
:ie: +2 10p
:sc: -5 8p
:pl: -5 7p
:ge: -6 6p
Gibraltar ? ?

Group E:
:en: +22 22p
:ch: +22 21p
:lt: +8 19p
:sl: +2 10p
:ee: -16 10p
:sm: -38 0p

Group F:
:gr: +12 23p
:ro: +4 17p
:fi: +12 15p
:hu: -2 15p
Northern Ireland -1 13p
:fo: -25 3p

Group G:
:se: +11 23p
:ru: +6 17p
:at: +2 15p
:me: -3 10p
:md: -4 9p
:li: -12 4p

Group H:
:it: +10 21p
:hr: +10 20p
 +12 18p
:bg: +5 11p
:az: -10 7p
:mt: -25 3p

Group I
:rs: +10 15p
:pt: +3 13p
:dk: -2 13p
:am: 0 8p
:al: -11 5p

Ranking of third placers, after taking away points and goal diffence against the 6th ranked teams. First place goes directly to Euro 2016!
:lt: +3 13p (scored one more goal than Bosnia & Herzegovina)
:ba: +3 13p
:dk: -2 13p
 +5 12p
:fi: 3 9p
:at: -1 9p
:ua: 1 8p
:sc: -5 8p
:lv: -2 7p

The other teams divided into two matches, same rules goes there, if ended in a total tie, the team that got the most amount of wins goes through. The match draws were made out of how the ranking looks right now where the top 4 teams challenge one of the lesser ranked teams.
:dk: 3-3* :at: (2-1, 1-2, Austria goes through on more amount of wins, 4-3)
:ua: 2-0  (1-0, 0-1, Ukraine goes through)
:ba: 9-1 :lv: (4-1, 0-5, Bosnia & Herzegovina goes through)
:sc: 3-1 :fi: (1-1, 0-2, Scotland goes through)

So the teams that competes are in alphabetical order:
:at: :be: :ba: :hr: :cz: :en:
:fr: :de: :gr: :ie: :il: :it:
:lt: :nl: :pt: :ro: :ru: :sc:
:rs: :sk: :es: :se: :ch: :ua:

We'll see what happens for real! ;)

Luckily, the size of a football field won't matter, because the're all the same, but they will have to play with only one ball though...
Will **** be able to satisfy serbian fans?
Can he help this team to rise up again?
Will he be able to be a manager for the whole qualification process or will he prematurely end his carrer as a serbian coach?
Will the goalkeeper have enough protection from the defenders?
Can they score in the right hole?
or will he screw the chances of qualifying?
or maybe the referee will blow the whistle at the wrong time and place
how many people will ****-up their bets?

xrofl

but seriously, will the referees use that white stuff like in the world cup??

:1::is: :de:

It's more fun to root gor Iceland because that might become exciting and tight

Germany will qualify anyway what ever happens... even if all of our matches start with an 1:0 advantage for the opponent team. So the only interesting aspect of watching Germanys matches is the possibilty that we maybe win like 7:1 or even higher but probably in most cases it gonna be boring 3:0 wins
Im looking forward of the matches against Gibraltar because its a new interesting side that I never saw playing. Their first results were relatively good, so they are not on a level with San Marino and Andorra
Our match against them gonna take place in my home town, so maybe I will purchase a ticket

On the European U19 championship:

:rs: 2-2 :de:

Great result against one of the best teams in junior categories as well. We played very good, we even had a 2-1 lead until the very end, and the :de: team tied in the last minute. In case we beat :bg: in the last match, we will advance to the next round.

Majority of these players are the future of our football, they have shown that once again.
