:ie: 1-2 :rs:

A victory against Ireland in Dublin and a play that is very satisfying and promising for the future period. I am not very satisfied with the first half, as we entered it quite reserved, and had huge problems to regain posession and connect more than 3 correct passes + the defense was very unstable and after one beginner's mistake, we got a goal and were losing the match. But the second half was much better, we were much more aggressive and the desire in the players to change the result was much, much bigger, so we deserved this victory, and it could have been even bigger. It was a great atmosphere in Dublin and it was a pleasure to watch it and feel it.

Also, I think that we played with 50% of our actual qualities, which just proves what kind of potential this team has, and now I am even more sad that we are not present in Brazil this year as we would would have what to show and we would have been in a great "momentum" as all our players as some of the key players in their clubs. But sadly, we can't change what happened, but instead must look into the future. And based on what we are showing for the 6th match in a row now, it can be said it is promising.

:mk: - :lv: 2:1 (1:0)

The new coach started his job with a victory and an interesting game with a lot of pressing against the Latvians. Could have been easily 3:1. Good start of the new year! :)

Since we're reporting results :

Poland 0-1 Scotland

Another brilliant result for us, and now unbeaten in 5 games. An away victory against one of our group opponents is very promising, and it keeps up the feel-good factor.

Serbia 2-1 Jamaica

Nice start of this series of friendly matches that we will play against a team that is everything but naive. We have shown two different faces in this match, in the first half we were the dominant team, we created a bunch of chances, we controlled the possession, and my impression is that we could have score more goals than only 2 we managed to score. In the second half, we lost these qualities and we were more defensive than I wanted, and Jamaica was more often on our field. After one beginner's mistake, we conceived a goal, and the way we got it is the only thing I am not satisfied with. We cannot let the opponent's defenders jump unaffected and score a goal with their heads from the distance of 10 meters.......

Overall though, I am satisfied. Our next rival is Panama and now some players that didn't have their chance in the previous match will get their spot in the squad.

After a disappointing tie against Panama (1-1), today we are playing against :br: .

For them, it will be a final test before their first match on the World Cup against :hr: . And they chose us as their last rivals in this stage, as we were supposed to reflect what will expect them in that match against :hr: because our styles are very similar.

:br: 1-0 :rs:

From these 3 matches on this American trip, this was by far our best one, and I think we didn't deserve to lose, from what was seen on the field. We were a better rival than Brazil in the first half, and we were at least equally good in the second. There were some periods of deconcentration and bad play, but generally, Serbia deserved a tie based on what we have shown in Sao Paulo last night.

The only thing I am not satisfied with, once again, was the way we got the goal. It was once again a silly goal after a catastrophic mistake in the last line of the team. Knowing that that was the first time :br: fired a shot at our goal (they had no chances before that at all, and we were the ones controlling the rhythm of the match), it makes things even more tragic.

All in all, :rs: national team has a huge potential and it has quality. From us it depends whether we will show it in the upcoming qualifications or not.

About :br: ...........from what I have seen yesterday and before as well, I can guarantee they will not get far in the World Cup. They have too many weaknesses, even though their team is greatly filled with quality and experienced individuals in all lines of the team. Their audience was booing them yesterday through the whole match, they also saw how things are standing. They are the hosts, but they are nowhere near the old Brazil and it is far below their actual standards.

I am still not keen on the idea of having 24 teams EURO. They ruined the basketball championship already with 24 countries in a EURO event. Hopefully the handball championship will remain on 16!

Hey, it mean Scotland might actually make it, so I'm happy.

Why?
To have a chance to watching amaters like Honduras, Iran, Ecuador etc etc etc. 24 countries on EC is tooooooo much and that champ will be boring with low quality (same for basketbal champ)
