The new system is trying to hide the huge difference that sometimes we have between juries and televoters, now giving points in a wrong order. I don't like it.

No, the actual voting does not change. However, there is a change in the presentation of the votes. The order in which the televoting results are revealed will now be determined by the ranking of the jury result. The announcement of the televoting results will start with the country receiving the fewest points from the juries and end with the country that received the highest points from the juries. Won't this kill the suspense rather than make it more dramatic? Especially at the end? Both 2018 and 2017 would have been much less suspenseful had it been done this way. However, the advantage of this new way of presenting votes is probably that it might be more understandable for the causal viewer and it might make it a little more dramatic when it comes to the lower positions but not by much. Plus it totally killed the atmosphere of say Italy, Denmark or the Czech Republic getting a lot of points from the televote even though it had been placed low by the juries.

I remember perfectly in 2017 getting super anxious and being like: "Please don't say Portugal, please don't say Portugal" until they actually did and that was because we were also first at the televote

yeah i have no idea what else they could do within this points system lol

maybe they will reveal televote results by reverse jury ranking? as in, they reveal the points of the jury last place, then 25th, and so on until the jury winner?? imagine last year doing that with THAT top 2 rofl

This. My favorite moment of ESC 2018 was when Italy came 3rd with the televote.
Especially if they don't show the artists when announced, they won't get the "celebration" and recognition that a 3rd place deserves.
