We can't compare Michal with The Humans. Color of your life was more liked than Goodbye before the contest and also he had already strong fanbase. While Goodbye is hated by the fans since it was selected and their fanbase is very very small. Also Color of your life is a bit more memorable than Goodbye.

even if those things mattered (hint: voice doesn't matter as much as having confidence in singing, beauty is not applicable to music and lyrics matter exactly 0%), goodbye is not a standout in any of that lmao

When I saw the running order, Romania at #2 made me smile. And I will laugh hard when they qualify. They gave them second spot on purpose thinking they can eliminate a country this way. Same happened to Poland 2016. And it didn't really work so I can see Romania qualifying no matter, the song is good enough, it stands out.
I can see why Iceland got #2... But again, a randow draw has been abandoned to keep the shows more interesting and it also became a platform for some to manipulate the results. :?

As for Poland this year being after Georgia may help us to get more televote but juries will trash our entry again. Georgia is much more jury friendly. Can't see your point with Malta, how can Malta cancel our votes and vice versa, songs are pretty different styles.

Romania being a stand out entry? I mean sure there is personal taste but I think it's a sure non-qualifier

Poland and Malta aren't the same, Poland is more EDM-Pop wheres Malta is more Schlager-Dance-Pop, but they are both umptempo "Pop" from a general perspective, that's what I meant with that there is a risk they could cancel each other out.

Poland is worse than Romania in my opinion. Malta is better than both of them! But i think that Romania and Poland have more chances to qualify than Malta.

Ukraine would have been eliminated last year, had they not qualified directly. They were lucky.

Exactly 2017 ukrainian entry was a NQ entry!
Agree on that too! Even if one of the other 3 countries somehow manages to save it this year they will sooner or later fail!
