Hmm.. This thread seems like a Trece hates FSC and NSC and now "I want my own contest which can be "MINE MINE MINE!!!"..." (three dots only for Janko )

WLSC was made to make the waiting time shorter for the WL... Yet it also made WL a little more attractive, which must be why the WL is so big right now... - I don't see what you really can have against a contest like NSC... You have the freedom to choose whatever song you want... (I send a Dizzy Mizz Lizzy song from 1994)... I can as a person who was in the WL for a long time (a year?) say, that the waiting for the main contest is worth waiting for... Plus NSC is an active community that you can join in if you want to be part of it (ask that boog WL'er Yoni about that )

FSC has grown more and more popular... Therefore has the mods set a limit... ROW has been made so that FSC wouldn't leave anybody out. Sure you don't play for your own country BUT you are able to join spin-off where you can be what ever country you want..

So far from what I have seen in the suggestions from the people who want a new contest is a "FSC 2", (with spin-off rules but without a theme..) - I would surely be more interested in the LSC, as it would be something new for the forum. And I would for sure not choose English, because that for me would be really boring to choose that... (+ I am quite sure people who would choose English would only send boog mainstream songs that I wouldn't vote for anyway.) I would the other hand would try to find an interesting language to send from in LSC..

The most optimal solution to two contest because they are very different. Why should not we have a contest, just because it is similar to others? Similar, but not the same.

I do not hate. I do not agree with a number of rules. These are different things.

If my rule is implemented than 3.

I don't know. I still recommend individual game play. here's why:
me, Hele and daniels are in Cro jury. Adel is in Poland, Trece in Spain.
after 3 months, 3 of us want to stay in Cro jury, but Adel and Trece want to join Cro jury as well. then what?

kicking some1 out of some jury is not "without restrictions", and it's not generally fair cause I could have 5 croatian songs lined up for contest. and I want to send them all in period shorter than 40 yrs, cause that's how much it would take for my song to win in NF, then changing the jury (but only if I can join Cro jury), then winning NF again, if not, waiting again etc.
on the other hand, Adel might have a big desire to send some croatian song but that song can't win in NF cause rest of the jury hates it. again, it's not "without restrictions".

yes, I strongly oppose jury system, and this rotating thing could create big mess.
btw, as I can see, NSC's waiting list is much bigger issue than FSC's RoW. so it's obvious we need more individual games. I said many times, there could be a crossover between fsc and nsc but nobody listens....2

Well, I didn't say anything here so whatever you decide, I'm ok with that. I wouldn't participate because 1) I don't have that much of free time, 2) I've already been in both NSC and FSC, 3) I feel happy with those two.

Anyway, LSC does sound cool, but I think it doesn't actually solve the WL problem in NSC. Those guys want to play NSC, not LSC. But yeah, ok. And I guess it's the similar situation in FSC; ROW members want to play FSC.

If you are not satisfied with FSС-2 (as you say) no one is forcing you to participate.

In any case, this contest should go separate ways with LSC, so any supporters of LSC (tired of these abbreviations) will create a new topic, or I (I also have supporters)

I do not see the point of this topic, in which two coalitions will argue endlessly that it is better. This is as controversials fans of Rihanna and Lady Gaga - who is better :?

I can see that you are against the 10 month rule and the ROW in the FSC... (which both are rules that I an not against..) But I can't see from what I read what you have against NSC's rules (other than there is a WL but they have WLSC to pass time with?). A waiting list from time to time is trying to be dicussed about, the only problem is that it is hard to find a solution that the LARGE majority of the community agrees on.. - Funny thing is I don't see ANYONE from the WL complain about being in the WL.. It doesn't seem to be the reason why they want a new contest.

I don't see the point in this thread being called "Creating new contest on the forum".. When it seems to be "Creating MY "new" awesome contest in the forum" - I thought we dicussed a NEW contest we could have on the forum.. Oh well my bad

What is the problem? Who wants - will participate, who do not want - will not. It's simple. We have two contest FSC and NSC. Need a third, which includes the best of these two. The similar is not the same. And I'm not against the LSC, I said 100 times that he has a right to be.

While this particular contest won't have any Semis I always said that if there is a need to create a new separate contest that would be faster or additional features such as semis, quarter finals or qualification rounds, then Ill be more than happy to create a separate contest. The options are unlimited and I'll do whatever people want to see added to the forum.

I can give you a complete quote, which explains the meaning of FSC, and that if we do not agree with this, we can create new competition.

If 3 or 4 is written in the topic, it does not mean that only they support. I can give you an example:
I created a theme http://www.escforums.com/t8356/ , which posed the question: Should new members participate in the competition under the flag of their country, rather than ROW?
no one supported me, but voted in a poll 16!!!! members (who is supported)

I haven't seen many saying that we need a third contest? But maybe my eyes has slipped by it... But I have noticed people in NSC WL saying they do not want to create a new NSC because they want to join the "real" one..

But if we should have a new contest, why not have something that is not similar to the excisting ones?
