Re: Creating new contest on the forum

Why would we need to extend deadline if there are 3-4-5 semis? You only have to vote in your own semi anyway so the number of semis doesn't matter...

You're right, it does not matter how many countries participate, which means that contest will remain the basic principle xcheer

It will be part countries like Argentina, Korea, Peru, Cuba, Nigeria, Japan, which you will never meet in FSC, either in NSC or in Eurovision

There has been a gazillion entries from Korea and Japan in NSC :p

EDIT: oh someone mentioned that already

Your invented country does not have real music, does it?
So you choose existing ones from real countries.

You seem to lack a lot of knowledge about NSC....

I mean you're saying stuff that has no basis when it comes to NSC... :S

Re: Creating new contest on the forum

I would like to see how you're gonna handle your new contest in a non "discriminating" way when it reaches like 100 participants :p
+
if the new contest becomes too big, a limit will have to be imposed. Otherwise, it would make the host's job a pain in the ass.
+
if the number of participants will increase, then will be introduced the semi-finals

xup but considering that you will maybe have 4 semifinals,it's too much work if winner do that,so I think that mods should do that.

Why are all decide in advance? When there is a problem we discuss it, because we can to talk, isn{t it?

We can not anticipate all situations and errors. After 1-2 contests will become clear how better

Of course, various nations can send Japanese songs, what's wrong with that?

Nothing, but more interesting if Japan send Japanese song, Korea send Korean, Spain send Spanish, Argentina send Argentinian, isn't it?

Re: Creating new contest on the forum

Rules (rewritten by Jukica)
1. You can select any country for jury and it doesn't matter where do you live. You can choose from the wide range of countries like Nigeria, Argentina, Brazil or Japan.
2. There is no time limit on song age, what means that you can select any songs except the ones that took part in the Eurovision Song Contest.
3. The only requirement is that you have to be in the chosen country's jury for at least 3 months, but you're allowed to change the country after 3 months.
4. Each edition of ______ (enter the name) is handled by the host. The winner of the previous _____ will get the opportunity to host the next edition. In case winner refuses, the runner-up gets the chance and the list moves until someone accepts the hosting.
5. There is no limit of number of countries participating in this contest. If there are more than 30 participants in the current edition, both semi-final and final will be included in all editions (except the ones with less than 30 participants).
